This has been a busy year, with the bombings and earthquakes and typhoons and wars and Katabatic and 6-billionth birth and La Nia and whatnot, so Jesus probably hasn't had time to get His holiday shopping done yet. With Y2K and His birthday still to come, He's probably hip on getting all of His gifts in one quick shot and, at the same time, celebrating the spirit of regional art and handmade, quality crafts. We recommend the Own Your Own Art Show and Sale at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center, 210 N. Santa Fe Ave., in Pueblo. The works of over 90 Colorado artists will include toys, seasonal decorations, woodwork, jewelry, paintings, basketry, ceramics, photography and whatever else the artists could think up. A free public preview and reception with the artists will be held tonight from 5 to 7. To find out more, call 719/543-0130.
