This week our artistic carpenter finds himself on a journey to Pueblo. His destination, an opening at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center, showcasing The Piper Jaffrey Collection: Regional Expressions. With artistic visions that encompass the world, these works range from traditional paintings and drawings to works in glass and fiber. Opening reception is from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Helen T. White Galleries. It's free and open to the public. For information, call 719/543-0130. The exhibit runs through April 22, though JC is a busy guy come April, so join him early.
