Re-emerging from a long hiatus, Marni Green and her band Boondoggle have found themselves yet another new guitar player and a new raison d'être in ax-man Chris Bocast. This weekend, they'll take to the stage at two venues (The Wayfarer on Friday and Tony's on Saturday), so you'll have to come up with twice as many excuses not to go see them if you're slagging off in your support of the local music scene, savvy? Boondoggle is also reportedly close to completion on their latest full-length CD with Bocast now on board full time, and you can come get a preview of their new-and-improved ska-punk-dance-rock sound at no charge, twice this weekend.
