Re: “Adlers Appetite

Did you catch that 15 year old kid dueling guitars with Michael Thomas! That kid was amazing; I think his name was Austin Johnson.

Re: “Carmichael Training Systems Endurance Sports Club Grand Opening

This is just the kind of place Colorado Springs needs. There are so many endurance athletes here and it will be great to have a place where we can train, that's built just for us and staffed by incredible coaches. I called the number listed, found out they have Computrainer classes, outdoor rides in the evenings, strength training equipment, and free GU when you're working out! Count me in.

Re: “The Taylor Project

The Taylor Project is probably the best band in Colorado Springs. It's hard to see another band that can match their talent or perform so many original songs making you think they were actually covers. 5 stars!!! These guys can write, perform and deliver a passionate show!

Re: “Bill Maher

A great performance. 2nd to last row of orchestra section, dead center. Good stage visibility except when the guy seated in front of me with a ball cap on turned toward his companion and obscured my view. Bill Maher is not afraid of offending anyone, and I sensed a little flinching among the group to my left during the religious part of his act, but he is an intellectually astute comedian and those who bought tickets had to know what kind of show they were in for.

Re: “In the Mood

Big band fans: come over to The Thirsty Parrot before the show for dinner and some fine warm up music from Springs Contemporary Big Band. We'll get you ready for this great show.

Re: “"Rediscover the Prairie: A Journey through North America's Imperiled Grasslands"

Someone had to sing, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, whoops almost said it a third time

Re: “Give Peas a Chance! Drive

Wanted them to print up my own sticker, "Men will be starv'in when robots read Darwin". But they don't do anything original. Thought original work was the forte of liberals.

Re: “Indy Music Awards

So much fun. Bands were excellent. Great choices, voters did it right. Will definitely attend next year. Met the singer of Malakai and got a fist bump. Purchased a CD by Grant Sabin. (gotta love songs about tarot cards and Tibetan 3-legged frogs..

Re: “Beauty and the Beast

Great show, Beast was awesome; set changes were very creative, Nancy Holiday did a great job adapting this play to her actors. Costumes were very well designed.

Re: “The BoDeans

Great show. Kurt is a gifted musician but it's not the same without Sam. The Bodeans will never be the the real Bodeans without him.

Re: “Romeo and Juliet

Gay E. Menditto - SO much to love about this production, I don't know where to begin. The costumes, the theme, the portrayals, the amazing fight scenes, fun swing dancing, beautiful music, etc. etc. I loved that even though I have memorized this play and love it, I did not know what to expect next. Great job!!! ~ Tin Roof.

Re: “Pete Earley — Crazy: A Father's Search Through America's Mental Health Madness

A wonderful collaboration by NAMI, AspenPointe, CC, and the Independent to bring the issues of mental health into the community dialog.

Re: “Jeffrey Alan Band

Saw the Jeffrey Alan Band at the Mill Hill Saloon on Sat nite Oct 22. Had a really great time listening to them. I would go see them again wherever they are playing, and bring some friends to enjoy them as well.

Good stuff. No nudity. Good music. Great costumes. Lovely ladies....

Great MC (Naughty Pierre) stole show with big-head puppets of Shakespeare vs W. Bush.
