Working hard on the bar food scenario. I have been booking the shows there for the last couple months and I agree that food is a huge plus for any place. I kind of look at it like this... my favorite places in Denver (to see shows) all have some sort of food attached or next door. So, that would be a win-win for Zodiac. Hopefully, we can make it happen in the near future.
I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE TRIPLE ZERO, UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE TO LEAVE A ONE STAR AND IT HURTS. RUDE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ACT AS IF THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR. HOGS WOULDN'T EVEN EAT THAT FOOD. IF YOU ENJOY BURN SOGGY SOUR FRIES, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. NOW I KNOW WHY THE PLACE IS ALWAYS EMPTY. THE OWNER IS A HOLE TOO. BAD ENERGY IN THAT PLACE, VERY NEGATIVE.GREAT PLACE TO GO UTE INN (WOODLAND PARK), AWESOME, FRIENDLY OWNER & EMPLOYEES, ALSO RECOMMEND THE SILVER TONGUE DEVIL SALOON (GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS).
It is fun and corny songs are part of why it is. A very authentic UK style pub with prices that won't kill too bad considering it's part of the Broadmoore.
Good food and a great atmosphere.
Neighborhood Lounge says it all. This place is in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood on Peterson and Palmer Park in a little strip mall shopping center. Locals abound everyday and are generally very welcoming. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very friendly.
Lunch specials are the norm Tuesday through Friday and are also priced right and full of homemade goodness. Open faced steak sandwich (a NY strip no less), meatloaf and the famous green chili smothered buritto.
A pool room with 3 tables and 3 dart boards (2 plastic and one steal tip).
Live music is only on occasion. Karaoke every Friday night though.
The crow is diverse as it ranges from construction worker to PHD.
Go there and feel welcome
Wyatts is a breath of fresh air for this neighborhood. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming plus the food is delicious. We have nothing but good things to say about Wyatts. Welcome to the neighborhood.
My dad (Scotty) owned the Keg for 20 years before Mud bought it and I must say the food now is 1000 times better now than it ever was... It is a neighborhood bar and they don't take kindly to being hasseled... Even if you're right, it don't matter...
there's plenty of other good neighbor bars all within walking distance of the Keg...
try one of them next time...
Wow, such negative comments on this place. When you have everyone stating how bad this place sucks, why would anyone want to come here. I just moved to Colorado Springs, and the big sign outside caught my eye. I was thinking about going to Copperhead for my Anniversary, but forget it now. If a place is great and had awesome customer service, then the owner would not have to a big stupid sign outside of its establishment. Way to go Copperhead. You lost a customer, and I did not even visit you yet. Please get a clue!!
Gotta love this place! It is the mold by which true live music clubs in the Springs were formed! Thanks to the "King of Colorado Springs live rocknroll clubs and original legendary owner George Harrison. ALWAYS will he be loved and NEVER forgotten . Rest-Assured now that all the girls in heaven are now kissed regularly!! Oh yes- the bar- it still rocks better than ever ! Go see for your self and ask for Johanna she is one unforgetably georgrous hostess that keeps this legendary club rockin on through the ages!
I visited this establishment for the firt time on June 4, 2011 with two friends. It was after the wine fest and we wanted to sit, have some drinks, and have some food. One of the persons with us was the DD, so she ordered water. My friend and I recieved our drinks right away, but the water for the DD took 20 minutes. I found the bartender and asked him for the water, explaining it had taken 20 minutes. When the water came it was brown and dirty. My friend (not the DD) asked the bartender for another water, explaining the one he sent was dirty. At that time he pointed at me and said I was "hasseling him" already about the water and refused to replace it. When I asked for the owner he falsely claimed to be the owner (I found out by calling later) and told me to leave "his " bar. He even went so far as to call the police to make me leave, though I was waiting for the DD to come back from the restroom. When I called later to find out who the owner was he answered the first time and told me he wouldn't get into trouble because his mom owned the bar. IDK if mom wants her business run like that, but if this is any indication of how it is going to be run, then I and my associates will frequent another establishment. Love Manitou, very much dislike the Keg. I can't rate the food or value because I was told to leave before it came.
I have been to the Red Martini multiple times, and have ALWAYS had awesome service. The bartenders are great, always welcoming, remembering your name and previous conversations... like old friends, and are very knowledgeable about their mixology. I have taken lots of friends there and they always comment on what a great place it is. The entertainment isnt always stellar, but I go there for the drinks, so I'm good with that.
Can be charming, depending on who's there and who is playing in the band. Incredible players like Wayne Wilkenson on guitar are there on occasion, but then some wannabees always seem to show up. The most forgetable-the highly over-rated Bruce Pennington on piano.....ugh..... Seriously, if I hear another cliche' "Liberace"-like scale run from the keys i'll jump out a window. As long as there is a variety rotation in play, this place is worth checking out... but beware the afor mentioned lounge lizard act.
My wife and I have been since day one, We have been treated better than royalty. The staff are a gift from God!!!! The drinks and food are a passport to excellence!!!!! If you have not been here you must come and enjoy the SERVICE and FOOD !!!!
The Red Marini bar is AWFUL. The service is terrible, the employees are rude, discriminatory, and obnoxious. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you are looking for a fun place with a great vibe, THIS IS NOT IT.
I just went to Motif for the first time this weekend and LOVED it!! There was a male singer who was amazing. Loved that I felt like I was in a big city, but only had to drive 20 minutes to get there. My friends and I shared a bunch of stuff off the menu. The sliders and fries were to die for and the chef's special was great as well. A little hard to find, but it was well worth the search, it was a real treat. The service was great, and the drinks as well. The mango martini was out of this world. Can't wait to go back!
This is the BEST neighborhood bar in Colorado Springs with the sexiest bartender, Nick-o-licious! oh yea, they also have beer and cocktail specials everyday...
goes with the territory, country,,,der. I know you wouldnt experience stuff like this at Jack Quinn's, SS Johnny's, etc. If you're 22 and love to hoot-n-hollar when Charlie Daniels comes on...this is the place. Oh yea, and like everyone above said, bring your checkbook.
I witnessed a disturbing event last night as we were being ushered off the patio. I saw the entire exchange from start to end. 1 of the bouncers told a drunk guy he was going to f* the drunk guys wife, clearly trying to incite a fight. I found myself telling their bouncer to stop. Not a way to run a professional establishment. Since I'm usually the DD, be assured that I am making no plans for a trip to Copperhead Road again. I usually side with the law and order side of any argument, thinking that the bar patron did something to provoke getting thrown out, but there was no valid reason for this crappy treatment.
My advice: If your looking to get insulted, your butt kicked and thrown in jail for fighting, go here. Otherwise, there are several other clubs in this town you can go to to have a good time.
Some of the worst BBQ I have ever had and I know my BBQ. The brisket tasted like it was broiled in an over, the ribs were fatty and I'm not sure what the sausage was made from. The side dishes consisted of baked bean ( tasted like they came from a can) and potato salad (absolutely no flavor what so ever. The only good things I have to say was the portions were large and the service was good.
Nice sports bar, food is good and the staff is friendly
Who's got balls big enough to serve a hot dog for $10 by calling it a Chicago Dog, then serve it without sport peppers? OC.
Still a favorite place of mine, but their recent "Chicago-inspired Classics" spring menu has felt like a failure in both concept and execution.
The $16.99 10oz loin steak is acceptable but not inspiring and not a great value. The $9.99 Chicago Dog is a straight ripoff.
