Lots of improvements both inside and out. The owners and staff work very hard to keep everyone coming back again and again. If you are looking for a place that has something for everyone's taste, you need to check them out!
I have not been there in some time but when I was I really appreciated all the Belgian ales on tap. That is very hard to find. If you appreciate Belgian ales you can do worse.
Tejon- I usually like your reviews but it seems like it's personal with you. You have too many entries on here and it's watering down your comments. Just my thoughts.
Jason is kind of a hippy dude, I met him when he was the brewmaster at Bristol's. He certainly has talent.
This is the closest sports bar to my house; the wife and I enjoy going here for the occasional beer and lunch/dinner. The only other options around here are large chains; at least for the Cimarron Hills neighborhood. (Rock Bottom and Old Chicago come to mind.)
This is actually a cute sports bar and the food is decent. A 25oz Guinness set me back $6.99 which I felt was a tad bit pricey, but the pours were excellent and the beer fresh. The food prices were good; I had a decent-sized wrap and a cup of some very tasty chicken-tortilla soup for about $10.
So... obviously the profit margin here is made on alcohol, not food. ;) This is true for many restaurants, though.
A few stand-outs - the Buffalo-chicken wrap with fresh carrots and celery as well as the spicy burger (Dynamite burger, or something like that I believe) are very tasty.
The atmosphere is loud and kid friendly, so don't expect this to be a "quiet date night" kinda place. It's a place to bring the kids, have a beer, and watch some sports - with good food and decent if slightly expensive drinks.
The beers are always good, food could use some improvement.
Food is well above average, service is excellent. On thurs. they do $2 pints/$4 martinis!!! are you kidding me? Great place to go for after work happy hour!!
We were there last weekend, and we had a blast! The food, especially green chile was delicious and the staff was a lot of fun. There is always some activity goin on there! We will definitely be back. I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinions...
We've been enjoying Jose's since 1976; the ambiance has changed over the years to more of a family atmosphere lately, but the food is consistently excellent. Love the margaritas and chili rellenos, especially. Usually good service; every once in awhile we go for long periods without finding our server, but we usually get good coverage. The patio is awesome.
I've been frequenting the Keg for over 20 years and I have always had a enjoyable time and been treated in a friendly and courteous fashion. It is normally filled with local folks, relaxing and having a good time with friends. The food and beverages are GOOD and there is a nice variety to boot. The Keg is a classic Manitou neighborhood hangout!

In the last week we have eaten here 4 times! Once was take out pizza and the rest was dine in. Everything i have had has been spot on and just flat out good food and plenty of it. The staff is very friendly and there is always someone checking on you to see if you need your drink refilled or anything else for that matter.
The beer is 5 stars. 5 stars for the house brews and 5 stars for the large variety of excellent guest brews. I always have a fovorite or two to drink and a new one to sample. Food os goof, not great. They are not trying to be a restaurant...they ae supplementing the beer. Service has been friendly.
It is fun and corny songs are part of why it is. A very authentic UK style pub with prices that won't kill too bad considering it's part of the Broadmoore.
Good food and a great atmosphere.
Neighborhood Lounge says it all. This place is in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood on Peterson and Palmer Park in a little strip mall shopping center. Locals abound everyday and are generally very welcoming. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very friendly.
Lunch specials are the norm Tuesday through Friday and are also priced right and full of homemade goodness. Open faced steak sandwich (a NY strip no less), meatloaf and the famous green chili smothered buritto.
A pool room with 3 tables and 3 dart boards (2 plastic and one steal tip).
Live music is only on occasion. Karaoke every Friday night though.
The crow is diverse as it ranges from construction worker to PHD.
Go there and feel welcome
I have been to the Red Martini multiple times, and have ALWAYS had awesome service. The bartenders are great, always welcoming, remembering your name and previous conversations... like old friends, and are very knowledgeable about their mixology. I have taken lots of friends there and they always comment on what a great place it is. The entertainment isnt always stellar, but I go there for the drinks, so I'm good with that.
I didn't put them down, indeed many people I love dearly are guests and staff there. I simply think that goth night can be more. The Zodiac is showing very strong potential to give just that. I'm writing a review of the club and it's perfectly appropriate to cite the competition.
This was meant to be more about the Zodiac than the Underground, but that being said, it's been a long time since The UG has really been drenched in the goth spirit. It's nice that it's there and has been for so long, but that doesn't mean it cannot nor should not be done better. Just because it's the oldest, doesn't mean it's the best or even a real measure of what a goth club should be.
Hiring the new chef and snagging Nate as a bartender were excellent decisions. The late night menu needs work and the staff are okay, but not brilliant. More training and a little more panache would go a long way. It's Blue Star, not Jose Muldoons and I expect the staff to live up to a higher standard. All that said, it's good value, the best martini in town, and a wine list that compels a second look.
This was my favorite hang out when I lived in the Springs. The customers are friendly and from every walk of life you could think of. The drinks are stong and the music is good, kareoke is best in town and the weekend steaks that are grilled outside are to perfect and cheap priced to ever miss. Penny now of Phoenix AZ
Fabulous food and drinks - great service. Live music would be nice.
Great fun and really helpful staff.
Re: “Willies South”
The bar is under new ownership and it's about to take The Springs by Storm with live entertainment and much more.
