Way overpriced, and lacks ambiance.
Not worth the money! I came here for a girls'-night-out and we were seated by the piano; all we could focus on was the "colorful" language we heard coming from the kitchen. The food and drinks were mediocre at best, and the servers were obviously overwhelmed. Also, after being open for almost a year, you would expect this place to have some sort of sign, but this is not the case. To top it off, as I was leaving, I passed by the side-door and had who I believe was the yeller with colorful language from the kitchen tell me to "have a good evening" as he sat in a sweaty, dirty t-shirt and shorts and smoked a cigarette. I would expect this sort of behavior and attire from a fast food restaurant, not an upscale jazz club. I absolutely advise against going here!
Nothing against my server because she was great . But took my lady out for dinner to The Warehouse, it was our first time there. Spent over $100 .. Service is nice , food is overpriced in areas , but overall service was nice.. The following day I'm sick like all hell , couldn't eat anything except for throwing up all the food I ate there. I contact them as soon as I can in bed because I'm that sick . I speak to the manager and tell them my concern. Told him service was nice but I got sick off the food. This guy tells me i need to run test and this that and the forth to be certain I got sick from their establishment. Doesn't offer to replace dinner or anything, says I'm out if luck . Remember I just spent over $100 and nothing except and apology but a your out of luck till you have test run..WTF !!! Please advise don't show any love their way especially because their after a profit and their not looking for their customers well being.
The Ritz is only a disappointing shadow of its former self. It's just sad to be there now. The food has gone downhill, as has the service. Not even a decent bloody mary. Time to go elsewhere.
We ordered two prime NY strips at approx 40 bucks each. Very disappointed with the quality and did not even finish. The manager did take some $$ off the bill. Wines were good...
Ritz Downtown - Blah. My chicken sandwich was significantly overcooked. My wife ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta. They forget to put in the shrimp! The waitress offered to give us a to go box with shrimp in it to make up for it. WTF!. No offer to reduce the bill for skipping the shrimp. Move on to a better restaurant folks!
burned, over-priced food and a very rude manager (dressed in wrinkled tshirt and pants) who argued with us in the middle of the dining room. Pathetic.
Service is horrible!!!
The staff is inattentive and dismissive. It's painfully obvious they they are easily overcome by events. The bartender is overly concerned with catering to female patrons rather than his actual job. The acoustics in the place are terrible and it's a shame because the bands are great. The music is almost drowned out by people chatting away. Most of this is attributed to the fact that the place is in the garage of the owners other business which the staff freely admits, like its a good thing. The food is way overrated and over priced as well as the drinks. The entire place has an air of extreme pretentiousness as the staff is overly concerned with local elites (some Army General's wife) that frequent the place while in turn neglecting other customers. I recommend with conditions namely eat before you go, don't expect prompt service and sit outside as the indoor acoustics are almost unbearable.
I will never go back to The Warehouse. They put on a buffet for a work function I went to -- the food was decent, although their idea of desert for 75 people was one tray of cream puffs. However, six of us got our cars broken into while dining there, in their parking lot. When we went back in to get support from the staff in calling the police, the waitresses response was "Wow! I'm surprised that happened tonight. It usually happens around Christmas!" Anyplace that says break-ins "usually" happen at a certain time, then don't bother calling the police....makes me wonder. The best food in the world wouldn't be worth that attitude or expense.
Re: “Nosh”
Went to Nosh the other day...and it is really hard now to get a glass of water...what is that about?
