Re: “Iron Horse Park

Really great park to take the family. Great plase to run, barbeque and picnic. Also near many stores if you should want a drink or get hungry.

Dave...wow, what a different experience you had.

I have eaten there a half of dozen times and love it. It is sophisticated food, the place is very clean, the food extremely fresh and handcrafted, the manager works hard (which can be mistaken as being pre-ocuppied, but hey, try working that hard and being charming in the same breath...I think he does a good job at that).

The food is excellent...and I am not paid to say that, nor am I related. I have several friends who feel very good about Q's as well.

I don't see how people are giving this place such rave reviews when we had a VERY BAD experience there. The staff and manager always bickering; asking if we had reservations when the place was not full, seating us at a table that was difficult to sit at (high top) and by the door. They were sitting people by the windows and outside in the HEAT AND SMOKE to make it appear busier than it was. The food was so-so and did I say that the attitude of the manager was HORRIBLE the entire time? I feel that the people that like this place are friends of the owner or paid to say so. DO NOT GO THERE! BTW they NO NOT ask for ID's for the drinks (no one was asked) and they add tips to your amount after you sign the card receipt!

Re: “Kairos Coffee and Tea

Wonderful atmosphere, quiet and a good place for a meeting or to study. Serving some of the best coffee in Colorado Springs, the staff is almost too friendly :)

Re: “JP Wellness

Jp Wellness Center is my first and last choice in town hands down. Huge selection of meds all top shelf quality in my opinion. If you havent been here yet your missing out on top quality meds and friendly family like staff who always are ready to assist and make the best suggestions for your every need and question. Thanks jp wellness for all your services and meds you provide. Always a returing customer and member ,Cassandra.R

Re: “Christal's - Austin Bluffs

All the fun of going there is gone, gone, gone. They immediately get your name written down off your ID due to shoplifters. Or take your ID if you protest... whichever you prefer...either way, you are a criminal the minute you walk in. If you're a little shy, don't go in the door. Hubby and I will be shopping online in a different company. One lady there is super nice, the other not so much. No bathroom access and continuously on surveillance ... No thanks. Treating those willing to spend $$$ like that will sink any store... Fast.

Re: “Voodoo Leatherworks

I love this place! The staff is very friendly, the food is great and the tea is *amazing*! It's certainly a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth it. It's certainly not a conventional tea house and it's still early in it's development - having opened doors in April, but the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. It's also great to have a new music venue in the Springs on Tuesday nights. Definitely worth checking out!

Re: “Christal's - Austin Bluffs

same manager as the one I had as a sales lady down south. Didnt remember me.. and once again tried to upsell me with bad advice and product.. they have some nice stuff but their upper end line of product is a little over price considering the product reviews.. and her knowledge is still more to be desired.. could be a great place but back off on the pressure sales.. I dont need someone breathing down my neck for a sale.

Re: “Christal's - Academy

This store could be great.. but it is not!!! The staff is a bunch of women that pretend to know the product.. But to be real, they don't know anything.. The manager was running the show and tried to up sell me like a used car sales person. That wouldn't of been so bad but she tried to sell me a cock pump with out a gauge that was more expensive and cheaper quality than the one I picked out with a gauge.. If this is what they call well trained then they are going to hurt someone from lack off or misrepresented knowledge. no stars for this manager.. She wears glasses and works at both stores. very rude..

Re: “Townhouse Lounge

I first came to The Townhouse to hear Neighborhood Bully play and let me tell you...it was very energetic, lively, and crowd pleasing. The staff is awesome, fast... they have this ship well oiled. Now I go each time the Bullies play because I love to dance, let my hair down and cut up with friends. Townhouse is a place just for that!

Re: “Cy's Drive-In

What happen to this place. The floors were covered with dirt, straws and looked like it has not been cleaned in months. Let alone, the pickles they served us, looked like they were frozen and tasted horrible. No one could eat them. The hamburger was running with grease and dripping out of the bun. Something tasted sour on the hamburger too. Not sure if it was the pickle, or catsup. Couldn't eat that side of the bun. Furthermore, the service was horrible. Not friendly at all. It was like, she didn't want to go out of her way for anything. Being a native of Colorado and have visited this place since it first started on Colorado Ave. I find this place very disheartening anymore. I will never go to this place again. Let alone, bring in out of town guests to this place. Local meat or not, the dirtiness, bad service and most of all, the way the food was prepared was shameful. This place needs a make over with everything. We visited this place on Saturday the 25th of May, 2013. The quality is just not there anymore. Sad really. I had not been there in almost a year and it has gotten a lot worse since then. The place seems like an old run down hamburger shop. Sorry but it does. If anyone would ever really look around that place. You will see it too. Sorry, I will never suggest this place to any of my out of town family and friends again. Not worth the embarrassment.

Re: “Stadium Bar and Grill

Ever since ownership changed, this place has been awful. The food and drinks are over priced and not to mention my wife got sick from the dessert. If you're really looking for a good sports bar to go to before the Sox game, go to Holy Cow, they're food is hotter, beer is colder and staff is prettier!

Re: “Willies South

The bar is under new ownership and it's about to take The Springs by Storm with live entertainment and much more.

Re: “Triple Nickel Tavern

I went there to attend a fundraiser for a guy who has bone cancer. I am a biker and had leathers on of course, also a small swastika pin that was given me by a friend. My friend told me an uncle was owner of that pin and died on the Russian Front during WWII. I wear it so that I can tell people what our country is becoming should they ask. Triple Dickle guys refused to let me in. Someone might be offended they said. Yeah, I am offended. I went around the side of the building (you know, smokers pen) and gave 50 bucks to the guy running the fundraiser and split. Pathetic people running this bar. I was in there at Christmas prior to that and told jokes and stories. Had everybody laughing but that memory is tarnished now by narrow minds of the employees.
Oh, I see "Black Pussy" is playing! I am offended by that racist sounding band name. And it is racist even though they may think it is cute. Put on your white sheets and go to the Dribbling Dickel. It is a dump as well.

Great food from the kitchen, but the out front organization is a total failure.

They told me one time they had no seating available when there was only one table occupied...when I pointed that out they said that one of the wait staff didn't show up and they could not service the remaining tables.

This place, especially without a beer license (who eats curry without beer) will be vacating this space like every other eatery that has been here.

Smily's, at the same time, continues to flourish.
