We often go to Mimi's for breakfast on Sundays. The breakfast and lunch menus have a wide variety of choices. The food is always good and served well. My partner is gluten intolerant, and Mimi's is helpful in telling her what is available to her. Sit in the room off the entrance if possible, as the room in the back is very noisy. The last time we were there, the server did not keep my coffee filled, thus only 3 stars.
Moneymoo that's to bad. I've been a patron for 20+ also and I must say I've waited for the day for Jose to serve me a bad meal (but they've been consistent over those 20). Not sure why people are blasting the food, you know it's not authentic before you come (but it is consistently good). Good, not necessarily authentic, southwestern food (not that tex-mex garbage).
I thought the shrimp was outstanding. The overall atmosphere was not.
Really? Are you the owner? I think it smells weird and has very little ambiance.
good food/menu if you're a carnivore. If you're not, not so much.
Had breakfast in the dining room recently. This is allegedly a 4 diamond place, but the floor was dirty (food crumbs), the cream was old and curdled in the coffee, the service was slow and inattentive, but the food was good. It will be interesting to see if they hold on to all of their diamonds.
It smelled weird and the live music was very late getting started.
I guess it would be somewhat insensitive to say that 15C is really smoky, but it is, even when it's not on fire and just open for business. But it's still really cool - great atmosphere.
The salad bar is good, the pizza is ok. Mostly about atmosphere, great to take kids and old people.
Friendly service, decent food. Will definitely go back.
Let's be honest....we can still choose where to spend our money for food and this is never my first choice. Delivery is COMPLETELY out of the question as I have NEVER gotten anything good from them in that department but if you go into the restaurant, the food is good. Not great, but good. I have found the best service at the Monument location and everything I have eaten there was good. First choice is always Papa Murphys but occasionally we will stop in and eat at Borriello Brothers.
SMD and scottwkeller1999 comments certainly provide opposite end of the spectrum reviews of Ruffrano's Hell's Kitchen Pizza. Must say I agree with both. Have visited more than once, and some days the service and the food are great, other days just the food is great. Staffing is certainly an issue and the owner's attitude is hit or miss, depending on the day you visit. Chalking this up to new restaurant nerves, and hope they work out the kinks as this is great pizza!
haven't been in years but their pies were alwys amazing!!!
Good food, fried potatoes are awesome! Not going to blow you away, but you won't be disappointed if you realize what you are getting/ Deli section has a good variety
You have to be careful here. 95% of the time the food is unbeatable, and then there is the other 5%. My favorite dishes there are the fish and chips, the bangers and mash, and sheppard's pie.
I have been going there for around 5 years now, and almost always order one of my 3 favorites. It's ususally great, BUT... a couple times a year it's horrible (and that's an understatement!) The last time I was there I ordered the Shppard's pie. It came with a well done top and the gravy was so thin and overpowered with rosemary it was disusting. Now the waitstaff and manager were all over it trying to make it better. I'll definately give them that. The second try at the pie was even worse than the first. I fianlly had to change to the bangers and mash which was rushed (as by the time I got it my wife had already finished her meal) was not properly cooked. I walked... and have not returned.
The one thing you NEVER do in a restaurant is serve undercooked pork (or chicken for that matter).
So, unless they've corrected the problem, which is sporadic, your taking the quality of your evening, and your health, in your hands!
They were ok but I felt like they thought they were a little too cool to sell to someone like me... I can go anywhere so I don't need a teenager giving me attitude. For people over 45 years old, keep looking, you've got several choices, just drive by.
This is a review of the Monument location.
The pizza itself is very good - our favorite pizza and the new Monument location has a nice environment. Here's my problem specifically w/ the Monument location. After ordering your pizza at the counter, when it's busy (dinner time on the weekends for example) you have to wait around for a table to open up. Unfortunately, there's not a good way to keep track of who's been waiting the longest and should get the next table. This results in the potential for conflict when a table opens - who was there first? Who should get the table? I don't like that.
IMNSHO This is the best Mexican food in the Springs. We usually have to travel to Denver for good Mexican food but The Flow of Mexico is as good as Denver's best. The ingredients are fresh and I will not eat at a place that serves processed food. I'm not picky, I just won't eat Sysco processed crap. The Vegetables were fresh and the meat was a good quality.
/p
Love the mix and match option that is their menu. Lot's of food for a great price. Thumbs up for the good ol' American mac 'n' cheese and their Asian noodle dishes (in all their varieties).
Re: “Tri-Lakes YMCA”
With so many members, it is way past time to put in a decent swimming pool for real swimmers, those of us who want to swim laps in regulation size and temperatures! We joined with the understanding that the pool was "coming soon"! It has been 3 years!!!
