Re: “UPDATE: AFA cadet wears uniform for Christian testimonial

As Christian supremacy becomes more & more embedded in the highest levels of our once-secular government, this cadet's actions, whether an informed & intentional act of sedition against the Constitution he's sworn to protect & defend, or merely the act of an ignorant naif, once more places the AFA, an hotbed of recurrent domionist Christian influenced anti-constitutional acts, at the center of the 'no establishment' clause. By virtue of making his religious statement in uniform, he lends the weight & power of the U.S. government to his religious ideology; an act the founders knew led to unending religious conflicts and their attendant horrors and consequently forbade in the founding document. In the past, the AFA hierarchy has seen fit to empower regime-friendly 'kangaroo courts' to assess compliance with Constitutional obligations (e.g.; the football team's prayer circles issue absolution) producing the expected result of 'no problem'. One has little hope that this latest transgression will result in a 'teachable moment' any more than those prior have done.

Re: “Unlicensed vehicles are the norm on streets near The Broadmoor, tickets aren't

Something to ponder:
As the article states, the Broadmoor made an attempt on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd but backed off under intense public pressure. We also know that the Broadmoor backed off an attempt to put riding stables on the east side of 21st Street across from Bear Creek Park .... also under intense public pressure. We've been told that the public reaction to the Broadmoor Land Swap was more vigorous and pronounced than, "anything in recent memory". And yet the Broadmoor has not backed off.
Why? Can anyone offer simple input as to .... "Therein lies the difference"?

Re: “Manitou paving stopped

Nobody ever accused CDOT of competence.

Yet you don't see the HD17 rep doing legislation to decommission Business Route 24 and return it to the cities and county, either.

Get that done first, then the cities can continue to fix it right.

Lost in the entire article is question that was never asked in the first place, which is why we need government permission slips and fees to use OUR property on OUR roads...

Re: “The Trump presidency, deplorables, the media, and more

Dan Marvin: Well, what did you expect from a con man RINO who is actually a Democrat? Ron Paul? (BTW, you would have gotten the same old S*** from Hillary, too!)

Robert B. Hoff: Or maybe he won't. Time will tell. But Hillary will try again in 2020 if she lives that long.

Ryan Carrigan: Thank you for your service, but you miss part of it. Clinton lost because she didn't campaign worth a crap on anything except that she wasn't Donald Trump.

Ken Burrows: Complain about Trump all you want, but with Hillary and her PC insanity, would it have been any better or different save the flip on who's acting out? Unlikely.

Ron Lowe: When you get a clue about how and why the Electoral College works, and that the Presidential election is not one national election but 51 state elections (and DC), then get back to us. We are not a democracy, so quit whining as if we were.

Gina Douglas: Have a binky for your whining. Your career criminal Hillary lost because she was a lousy candidate who campaigned poorly. Place your whining blame where it belongs: on her.

Re: “Letters to the Future

January 2027: The world finally realizes that the entire AGW argument was nothing more than an elaborate hoax put forth by scheming liberals to do nothing more than achieve their ultimate goal of planetary enslavement under the liberal socialist political mantra, plunging the entire world into poverty and repression in the name of the liberal religious cult of scientism known as AGW, all to satisfy some elaborate and completely false narrative that somehow they know what's best, when in fact, they don't know Jack Schitt.

Re: “Post-Paris and post-election, meaningful movement toward climate change may stagnate

What a glorious mountain of a hot mess of AGW garbage!

Here's the reality: the climate of the planet, like everything else natural in the known universe, oscillates in sine waves. Right now it happens to be on a relative upcurve of that specific wave for climate. But it isn't linear, and it will peak soon, if it hasn't already, and then it will decline again, as it always does.

And there isn't a darn thing the human insect can do about it one way or another. The laws of nature will cause its own adjustments, not because of humans, but in spite of them.

But such reality is just completely destructive to the huge egos and smugness of the irrational and incorrect liberal mindset that they and only they in their alleged superior mindset can solve the problems that the allegedly lesser minds of non-liberals have caused. The reality is that the liberals don't know squat because they arrive at their analysis with pre-ordained conclusions based on fallacious reasoning and emotive nonsense, then Finagle the data to fit that pre-ordained conclusion instead of actually see what the full data actually says--and it says that their conclusions are simply FOS.

Re: “The Trump presidency, deplorables, the media, and more

"Now that Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States of America, do you want to know why? It is simple: Hillary Clinton called me a 'deplorable....'" That's it, huh? You chose to be hurt or insulted or piqued or whateverthehell because you think she called you a name? Drumpf said Mexicans were murderers and rapists and must be kept out of our pristine white country with a impenetrable wall, and you were okay with that?? He called women "bitches" and "whores" and bragged that he could grab them by the private parts and they couldn't do anything about it--and that's alright with you? But god forbid Clinton call you something. He threatens to jail, deport, and otherwise harm people because of their choice of faith paths, dismembering families, separating parents and children, but that's no skin off your nose because you're not Muslim, right? You're not female, disabled, black, elderly, homeless, gay--so you're okay with all of the danger those "other" people are in. But, but, but--she called me a bad name!!! Sheesh....

Sure, the city is working on meeting the new clean-air standards now, but the whole point is that they've been polluting out of control for decades and lying to cover it up.

Re: “The Trump presidency, deplorables, the media, and more

Interesting letters this week. First off our system of the electoral college does work we vote in a Democratic way but count in the electoral so as to be true to our republic. That's what you tell your children the truth. If you remember correct Baby Bush won the same way. Time will tell if Trump makes the right calls for our Country with what powers he may have. I personally think things are going to put in that hand basket and go to that place Grandma warned us about. But we will see. Everybody wants some kind of change and looks to the President to do it but ignores the rest of our leadership where the changes are needed and that's Congress. All of our policy and laws come from that group and yet everyone looks to the President. Trump just like Obama and Bush is only going to get as much done as Congress allows and Congress is influenced by money. Not your vote not mine just by who ever has the most money and they are secure in there jobs because the voters are preoccupied by the Presidential election and whats promised to them by that one person. Everyone talks about coming together as one Nation but we keep voting one group over the other then the next time its the other groups turn after the first group screws up and blames the President. We need balance, compromise and solid leadership in all three branches of Government. Not one side takes all and we damn sure need the money taken out of the Capitol so the people have a voice again. The biggest problem with Obama was Congress not doing a damn thing and him going forward on his own with what few powers he had. We dont need more of that. But that's just my opinion.

Re: “Utilities set to meet new clean-air standards, official says

The truth has come out by the Courts disclosure of CSU effort to lie to the public about the negative health effects of the pollution spewing from Martin Drake. The reason CSU tried to hide the truth from the public is now an open secret. Shame on you Jerry Forte.

Election will provide some "Wiggle" Room for continued progress with Neumann System.

CSU has done a major technical improvement to coal fired Utilities.

Risky, but it has worked, Hat's Off to Them !
