Muslims really need to try understand that they are walking dead by virtue of worshipping one of Satan's alter-egos - the idol of Baal in Mecca - to which they kneel under a crescent moon in their mosques.
The true GOD YHWH, Father of Jesus and all us humans repeatedly destroyed the followers of Baal and His Son, Jesus, repeated this is the fate of idolaters like Muslims in Revelation 22:15.
Unfortunately all Muslims have ears and eyes blocked by Satan and will not open a Bible or listen to any logic or reason and so they walk in Satanic ignorance to their destruction.
It would be a truly Christian act if anyone can get to the young women in the article and have them read Rev 22:15 or 1 Corinthians 6:9 both of which state: '9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men.'
Unfortunately the women will claim any such effort is hate crime just as any homosexual, lesbian or pedophile would if confronted with their fate.
So basically Muslims have to be left to walk to their doom along with homosexuals, lesbians and pedos.
Quote: 'Weinstein and Feltman...what a surprise these two are involved in opposition to the Bible being displayed.'
What about the irony of a walking dead lesbian being offended too?
Might we be told what page the Bible had been open at for so long?
I find it very interesting that many of the religious folks here have no problem with Focus on the Family REQUIRING their employees to participate in their daily worship service (if not, you won’t get hired) or Hobby Lobby telling you that your health insurance won’t cover women health issues that they don’t believe in, yet you have a problem with a job that tells you not to HARASS your fellow employees cause you feel that it is your Religious Freedom to do so? What about my right to my own beliefs? What about my right to health care being a priority since it is my RIGHT to make medical decisions about MY BODY?!!
How about I display a photo of the devil and print on it: “The god of this world!” since he got dominion of this world from Adam after Adam disobeyed God’s command in Genesis? Would you find this offensive for me to post in my work space, when the bible says this very thing? Would you be offended if I told you I liked it because it reminds me that he’s the enemy of my Lord, Christ Jesus, as in Ephesians 5&6 and in John 10:10? I bet this ironic display would offend your Christian beliefs, yet as you claim, would be my right to have in my work space. LMAO!!!
GuruD who posted, trolled!, multiple comments above takes her stance due to the self-inflicted mental instability known as BRSS - which is the result of ingesting samesex hormones during lesbian sex.
Lesbians and homosexuals like to pretend they isn't pedophiles but in fact the driving force of all three perversions is the same BRSS.
My Bible repeatedly states lesbianism is sinful and lesbians will be destroyed when Jesus returns.
A true Christian should be concerned about being denied any opportunity to preach the Gospel as anyone who is ignorant of the Gospel message is surely doomed to permanent destruction when Jesus returns.
All other religions have Satan's lies about rebirth, Paradise and lots of virgins, etc.
While working hours may not be the best times to proselyte or preach coffee and lunch breaks are - in fact proselyting during the working hours may actually be a sin as the worker should be working at the job not shortchanging the employer?
Cait is here, trying to appear more nuanced and benevolent toward this infant.
Well, let's break this down:
"his mother is caring for him" - Well, if you're 26, and you still need Momma to wipe your bottom and ignore your criminal activities, then you're obviously incapable of taking care of yourself, much less maintaining a private residence; so it's time for the lad to go.
"An addict with multiple warrants", yeah, all for what?" - Drug charges...burglary...failure to appear...Here's some advice: it helps to actually read the articles before commenting on them *sigh*
"we are dirty, diseased, evil criminals that care for no one but themselves" - You may self-identify this way, but I, and apparently the rest of the public who finds you ridiculous, don't. Clean up, grow up, wise up...
"you think of him as an addict instead of a human being" - I certainly do: he's freely admitted it! Humans are fine, addicts that endanger their neighbors aren't.
'it's pretty much impossible to get out of the system" - This country--and community--is dedicated to helping those in need, and if you can't get by through your own means, does there ever come a point where you should be denied the largesse of others? You can't help everyone; esp. those who won't help themselves...
"The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few, or the one" - Not my quote, but look it up, and consider what it means...
Court ordered community service is nothing more than slave labor. It isn't enough that offenders have to pay fines and possibly serve jail sentences, they are forced to do labor that even non-profits should be paying for. For any organization to take advantage of a broken criminal justice system is reprehensible.
Also, the article fails to include the fact that Front Range IS a monopoly with a sweet contract with the courts. They actually require a $75 payment for the privilege of registering for said indentured service.
It seems obvious that many of you may never have had to sit through a professional staff workshop on Sexual & Environment Harassment. On the job, there are many different situational boundries that you can’t cross, and things like Facebook and dating are just a part of the rules of behavior that are now being included. And to have personal displays in your own job space that is not your personal home is not your right, and if your job says not to, then you have to follow their rules. I suggest that you read your Employee Handbook on this matter.
So, other than having his religious text at work has this major actually been practicing his religion while on the clock or talking about it to coworkers who didn't want to listen? Has he been doing his job? If so then why is this public display of support for or interest in Christianity any more disturbing than a public display of support for a sports team or family?
The guy in charge of the investigation said "If a person has a Koran display or book of Satan, they're free to have that on display and read it as long as they're not proselytizing, trying to entice someone to their particular viewpoint". So if he's not preaching or talking someone over to his viewpoint then he's clear. He is allowed to have a Bible on display and read it.
Unless of course the issue isn't making everything fair for everyone but instead finding a way to attack one religion, Christianity, specifically.
To those who suggested he have work related books on his desk instead: I hardly think that this Bible was the /only/ book on his desk.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation should be up on their soapbox __defending__ the Major's right to have his Bible on his desk.
You're wrong Maverick. Every cadet is not force fed drugs nor treated like a military test subject like this kid was.
Every cadet is not used as a scapegoat in order to coverup blotched investigations.
Argue and stomp your virtual foot all you want. It really doesn't make a bit of difference to me. The entire institution is designed to pull the wool over the eyes of the naive general public. And for the most part, it works (you're proof). I'd be just like you if I wasn't privy to some of the dirty little secrets.
I once worked at a college maintenance dept where in the painter's shop where my car wash station was they had porno centerfolds hanging on the walls. As this was their space, are you saying I had no right to be offended as a female if they said it was their religion to display the naked female body cause that was how Adam and Eve where created? NOT, this was harassment then, and it is harassment now to push your religion on the job!!!
Religious Freedom means you have the right to practice the religion of your choice, but not everywhere and anytime you want, such as work or in public places under civil laws regarding this issue. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AT WORK AS IN ACTIONS LIKE DISPLAYING A BIBLE AT THE AFB. On my job at a non-profit, this would be considered HARASSMENT of your co-workers, and therefore, I could get fired for doing so.
Also, my taxpayer dollars pays this man’s salary and I don’t want my money promoting HIS BELIEFS while on the job. What don’t you get about this? You are not paid to preach, you are paid to WORK. You may also have Religious Freedom in your own home, but you do not have the freedom to scream your beliefs at the top of your lungs in the middle of the street at midnight because this is also limited by our civil laws. What don’t you get about Freedom of Religion is not your freedom to push your religion on others, it is freedom to believe what you want.
So, the book was out in plain sight; apparently there for his frequent use. So what? Religious FREEDOM is supposed to mean just that, right? I mean, is he holding his colleagues and/or subordinates at gunpoint, forcing them to read the thing or listen to him read it? The entire situation is a ridiculous waste of time. If his colleagues and/or subordinates don't like it, let them display their own religious texts. FREEDOM of religion... RIGHT??? Or wrong? Do we have it, or don't we? If we DO, in fact, have freedom of religion, then leave him ALONE. It's HIS Bible, on HIS workstation.
Conservative Christians are just too RELIGIOUS!!! When I was in a Pentecostal ministry as a missionary in the '80s, we were told that when we were at work we were to honor our employer and do the best work we could as our witness of Christ in our lives. Since when do Christians feel it is there right to bring their religion to work??? I just don't get it when it is very clear in Ephesians not to do this because you are being paid to work not witness..
At the same time this umm, Christian is complaining about a bible being placed on a majors desk. The current occupant of the W.H. is advising supervisors of D.H.L.S. or some other meaningless department, to give some extra leeway to Muslims as they celebrate their holiday of rahmadon. Due to the fact that they may be tired from fasting and praying for 5 hours. So they will want to take a nap. So, is that not favoring a particular religion? I'm confused on how that's okay but Do Not Display your bible at your personal desk. Such politically correct BS!!!
To Tom McMinn ... Disagree. Removing the bible display means the Major's subordinates don't have to worry they won't get good assignments or promotions because they don't follow the Major's particular religious practices. It is a logical fallacy to say not establishing a religion is tantamount to establishing atheism.
Separation of Church and State means that the State will stay out of the business of Religion, not the other way around. The term came from Thomas Jefferson, and is not in any of the official documents of the founding of our country. The intent of the writers of the bill of rights was to assure the State never adopted an approved religion, not to limit those involved with the state from practicing their own religion. To remove this bible is tantamount to making the State Religion Atheism...
