I work at the Colorado Springs Event Center and we are looking to doing a 420/cannabis health and wellness expo/ event in 2015. I was wondering what kind of interest there was out there and if anyone wanted to discuss this with me further... Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested
Am I wrong but banks period are not working with the pot stores. Its an all CASH business is it not? I really dont know but I thought thats what all the reports have been saying and why a State credit Union was being formed.

Correct. Title 18 US Code 922. While there are a couple methods of getting a concealed carry permit without having to touch a firearm, the issuance of a concealed carry permit does presuppose the possession of a firearm -- therefore, the state, by allowing the carry and therefore possession of a firearm, would be violating federal law.
"Colorado group Guns for Everyone (gunsforeveryone.com) is pushing for a state initiative that would not disallow marijuana users from receiving concealed-carry licenses. The current application asks if the gun owner is an "unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana.""
Sorry, but it is a federal law that a person who is an "unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana" cannot possess or purchase a firearm. I have seen quite a few people be turned away by firearm dealers when the people came in reeking of pot.
There’s an online, confidential user-friendly computer program at PTSDSTRESS.COM that reduces anxiety, stress and other symptoms of PTSD. Users are less anxious, calmer, more relaxed. Relief is lasting. There's no registration. No personal information is required.
A confidential, anonymous session is $10 and lasts 15 minutes. A cardholder name is not required to use a credit card. The computer program was proven effective at the University of Cincinnati Medical School with veterans with PTSD showing stress reduction of 61% after program use.
Anyone with half a brain knows that all roads (state and federal) are **user-funded**. That means if you don't drive, you don't pay fuel taxes or excise taxes on oil products to maintain the roads.
Nice try, though.
THANK YOU! Audrey Hatfield for all of your selfless work on helping those in need. No one has provided more direct help to sick people in this state. Time to focus on your health. We love YOU!
Oh and look, now we can laugh as the state returns 30 million over-collected in pot taxes while the schools get 1 million of the 40 million the 64 SCAMpaign promised voters.....
Bottom line ~~Thank You Audrey! & Just take care of you!!
Nice of them to give me back .000001% of MY money that they FORCIBLY take from ME.
Well considering a large contingent of El Paso County tea bag republicans have opposed recreational marijuana and have managed to ban it everywhere except Manitou Springs - a decision they are still trying to overturn in the name of the "children" and keeping our Federal welfare programs - oh, excuse me I mean military installations. It seems it would be more than a bit foolish to turn around and give these individuals a refund. Good grief people are we as a State insane or just stupid? Doug Bruce must be grinning from ear to ear.
freaking teabaggers want the $2 refund, don't let the government fix the roads or better protect you family or home... freaking teabaggers are so greedy... enjoy your $2...fools.
REFUND! TABOR ensures the government doesn't just spend money it has collected and not budgeted. Give it!
I do not use or grow, I was not polled. We voted and they are taking all away whenever national voices start being raised. Time to vote some in that really listen when we vote.
The banning of medibles is a witch hunt started by SMART. Colorado has had medibles since the inception of Amendment 20 in 2000. They have been on the shelves of medical cannabis dispensaries since 2009. Now that the green genie is out of the bottle for all aka recreational cannabis the back door attempts to hinder Amendment 64 are laughable. Do the math on where and when and you'll see your unfounded witch hunt. 14 years medibles have been available. Duh!

He spent too much. Shouldve rented from http://www.healersfarm.com
Its shameful the way DEA responds to this issue, when in fact, due to the 2004 ruling from the 9th circuit ct of appeals, the DEA has no regulatory power over the Cannabinoids contained within the hemp plant, including the small amounts of THC, therefor, plants designated as "hemp" such as CW are 100% legal to make hemp finishing products from, you just cannot call it "medicine".
Regulated OPC holding growers might find space at http://www.healersfarm.com
Not sure what this lab rat campaign is all about. Are they saying that smoking pot is something new? And that young people are somehow lab rats for testing marijuana? If anyone is a lab rat it is we who have been smoking pot since the 1960's. With no ill effects. I'd say the testing is conclusive and complete. No one is being a "lab rat".
It is Truly Ashamed, That the 'New' Retooled Southern Colorado group can't find a Sympathetic Politician, who is closer than Longmont! Maybe this group should just GO AWAY?
