1st annual 420 festival!! AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL PARK APRIL 20TH 2011!! ALL DAY EVENT
I really like Indispensary! Recently I won a 7.9 gram cola of Great White Shark from the Bijou location. When they called I thought it was a joke- but it was real! I pretty much ran down there and got my cola!
Besides the fact that they are so nice... (I have yet to check out their Colorado location)
they have good quality meds! I highly recommend them as a dispensary who cares and provides patients with great meds!
My fav? Red Diesel and Mystery Wreck ; )
White Mountain Medical
Physician Preferred Products (in Manitou)
I agree w/SailorJerry, way overpriced. I tried it- twice.
BTW/FYI - High Mountain Caregivers has changed their name to Levity Wellness.
I really like that you are all inclusive of all our local MMJ Dispensaries. I try at least two new dispensaries a week and really enjoy the diversity that everyone has to offer. Everyone has their strengths and stuff they can improve on and I give kudos to those dispensaries with integrity and quality meds that make our community stronger.
you can find it in centers now for $30.. a gram.
What about the rest of the candidates?
Caviar, schmaviar. I do not like this type of meds. Its far to overpriced.
The CS Indy and Bryce Crawford do it again! Setting the standard with one of Colorado Springs' most helpful MMJ guide hits the streets (again!)
Well done (again) would not be the same without the support of Indy and the pen and ink of Bryce.
Keep up the good work!
parkview, i just have to say that this is why i believe that some people shouldnt even have the right to think let alone vote. not only have they found no negative physical side effects, but they found an overwhelming amount of evidence that it not only treats but cures cancer. so if you, for one minute think that marijuana is more harmful than alcohol, tobacco, or your genital warts, then you are ________(fill in the blank), and need to do some research before you come off as someone who is,,,, dumb. you are still hearing the things that government has lied about. you old people ruined a lot for us. many of your ideas and principles are still holding us back. if for any reason you think that im just an outraged teen that doesnt know what he is talking about, then think of this. in your days you thought slavery was fine, killing jews is a great way to cleanse the people, and marijuana is bad and causes many negative side effects. i think you need to spark a doobie and try to see if maybe your minds eye will finally open. one more thing, marijuana gets rid of diabetes, if you didnt know that yet and are still just getting treated, then maybe you should look to alternative medicine.
"It appears that when it comes to teen brain development, parents should be more worried about alcohol abuse than marijuana abuse. Two recent studies have been published showing that alcohol -- a legal substance (though not legal for teens in the U.S.) -- is considered more dangerous than marijuana, which is illegal in many countries. "
"Alcohol is considerably more intoxicating than marijuana. Moreover, one attribute of alcohol is to make the user less aware of impairment while marijuana actually produces an exaggerated sense of impairment, thus promoting caution as opposed to the reckless actions common with alcohol inebriation. "
"The person high on marijuana is not readily distinguishable from one who is not high."
- Dr. Andrew Weil, in The Natural Mind'
Alcohol is a disaster on the highway while marijuana use seems to pose a minimal threat to public safety unless it is combined in large doses with alcohol. "
YES. YES YES YES. Freedom for everyone to smoke pot. It's rated a rather harmless drug. Please educate yourself and read the studies. We have way too many people dying regularly from LEGAL prescription pills that are made in a government lab, alcoholism AND hard drugs like meth. I DO NOT THINK METH SHOULD BE LEGALIZED. Why must you think that because someone thinks marijuana should be legal that ALL drugs should be legal?! ALL DRUGS ARE NOT THE SAME. Stop stereotyping and jumping to inane conclusions. Find a meth addict and a marijuana user and compare them. Is the marijuana user suffering the way a meth addict is? Don't be an idiot and please don't pose such ridiculous questions.
Just because something is illegal doesn't mean it SHOULD be. parkview1649, please venture outside that box you live in and start questioning this government whose job it is to make you believe that every law it creates is to make you safe. The US government has made many mistakes. criminalizing marijuana was one of them. You've grown up with the consistent right to drink alcohol despite it's drawbacks so you've never questioned its legality or morality. Is this correct? (Or am I wrong and you'd prefer a prohibition part II?) But as long as you've been alive and a resident of this country, marijuana has always been illegal so you've never questioned its illegality. You tend to take things at face value, behave, and believe what you're told, right? Our parents weren't always right and neither is our government. Not this time.
Marijuana is a whole new in-demand product the government will be able to tax, we'll finally release everyone serving time for something as minor as marijuana possession and we'll put a huge dent in the drug cartels that run large portions of this country. Because, unless your IQ is extraordinarily low, we all know that when something is made illegal it will continue to linger ...but only in the hands of dangerous criminals.
Freedom IS precious. And no, we are not free to do anything we want. When what we're doing is infringing on the rights of those around us, that's where our freedoms end. But how is me smoking marijuana inflicting on YOUR rights?
Freedom? Freedom for everyone to smoke pot? That is not what this is about. We're talking medical marijuana ONLY here. Big difference. We've already decided your issue in 2006, Bex, when the state voted overwhelmingly NOT to legalize marijuana. And I'd like to see your hard copy statistics backing up your statement that alcohol causes more "damage and problems" than marijuana. The reality is that alcohol is legal. Marijuana is not.
Let me ask you this. Should we have the "freedom" to have meth lab dispensaries in our city too? Or how about a chain of "Crack City" stores at our local strip mall? Or how about the "freedom" to carry a loaded pistol on an airplane? Freedom is precious and comes with a price. We are not free to do anything we want, and this issue is just one example of that fact.
The MMJ industry's motivation (business or 'helping people') is a moot point.
Smoking marijuana should be freedom all Americans enjoy,
After all, isn't that what this country is about? Freedom?
I can't seem to wrap my head around people that vote no on freedom and additional rights.
Did you also agree with prohibition, parkview1649? Alcohol has been shown to cause more damage and problems than marijuana has.
So what's the actual problem? How will dispensaries "ruin our city" ?
Please elaborate. I'm curious.
oink: You're kidding, right? My pharmacist cares about me too and wants to help me feel better. What's your point?
did you ever think that they offer all those things as part of helping people... perhaps they actually care about their customers and it isn't ALL about making money; like the rest of the pharmaceutical industry...
umm... parkview1649... yes of the truth, but just you wait... this is money they work HARD to make is for our city and all us citizens ...
