Re: “Falling Starrs

This is one of the saddest things I've seen in a long time....
Incredible talent....incredible sculptures....the world should be in awe....
Not watching them get taken away piece by piece....
Another historical iconic artist & his work
.....swept under the political rug...
Sad ...very sad...

Re: “Documentary portrays the four-generation Hanna Ranch and an 'eco-cowboy's' legacy

Watched this for the second time this morning. Wish the Hanna family all the best. Hey Steve, Do you really believe we can't see right through you? Heard of the phrase, " Self Righteous" ? Wonder if you believe the words you speak. Enjoy the money.

I knew Laura Hendrie in New Mexico 25 years ago.Recently I gave a friend "Remember Me" She said it was 'The best book she has read'. After all these years I am reading it again. Ina Koch. Hawaii. Is it possible to get in touch with Laura?

Re: “Colorado Springs-based Facebook page wants you to Give a Shit About Nature

I really liked his page until I ordered shirts from him in November and have yet to hear back from him. He has my money but where are my shirts?! its been four months and not a peep when I try to email or contact him on instagram. And im not the only one accordibg to some of his accounts. He's a scammer, which is sad because the world needs more people to give a shit.

Re: “Good fences ...

Thanks for the review. I agree that it was very entertaining but a bit breakneck, and the final monologue was not nearly as helpful as I believe the playwright thought it was. Our group really enjoyed Cornelius and thought she stood out.

Re: “The Players' club

Thanks for the write-up! I'd like to give credit where credit is due: Dylan and I are only part of the group of SB veterans who keep this company running. Greg Lanning and Elizabeth Kahn also met in a Star Bar show, subsequently married and have served on the board off and on for 20 years, as has Melissa Hafter. Jan Gregg-Kelm has moved to warmer climes, but I'm pretty sure this incarnation of Star Bar would never have gotten off the ground without her. They're not the only ones, of course, but the're the core, the heart of Star Bar.

We've got some new members this year, as well, including Shayn Megilligan, Erica Hutchinson, Catherine Cotton-McGuire and Bob Morsch. It takes a LOT more than the two of us to make Star Bar happen.

Re: “So fur, so good

The reviewers comment, 'Ben Whishaw gets Paddington's voice just right, and the movie wouldn't have worked without the absolutely correct actor bringing him to life' is very interesting. Colin Firth was originally penned for the part, and even recorded several sections before it was determined, by mutal consent apparently, that the 'fit' just wasn't right. Glad Mr. Whishaw strikes the right cord, then!

Re: “Renowned dancer Eiko Otake investigates the tragedy of the Fukushima disaster

Such a beautiful exhibit. I love that it captured the desolation and decay around the site with such sensitivity. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this.

Due to popular demand, we've extended the run through Jan. 11! But tickets won't last long.

Re: “Let my people go big

"Moses communicates with a Yahweh who has taken the form of a preternaturally serene young boy." Sounds to me more like Dionysus or Apollo!

The Mosaic Law strictly prohibits creating visual images of God. Congratulations to Ridley Scott for managing to disrespect Moses and the Hebrew religion twice in one scene! First, by depicting God at all. Second, on drawing from Greco-Roman mythology for his imagery. Check out Ezekiel, Chapter One, for a Hebrew view of what God might look like.

Re: “Let my people go big

The photo caption reads, "Christian Bale gets his gospel on..." Since when is Exodus part of the gospel?

Re: “Despicable Me 2 lives up to the title in all the worst ways

This reviewer is a perfect example of the 'finds everything offensive' brigade'. I hope this reviewer stays home for the rest of her life as it is obvious she finds the world just too mean and oppressive.
