"...69% of Halter's money has come from individuals, only 22% of Lamborn's has..."
People claim they want "local control" but if 78% of Lamborn's money comes from out of state firms and billionaires then Lamborn is not the choice for local control.
“The Israelis must realize they are killing their blood brothers..." who are responsible for disseminating more anti-Semitic lies and propaganda than the Nazis. Last week I posted this link:
Apparently, no one bothered to check it out, as there were no comments on it. So, I will take the time to give a short description.
It is a short video, 3 minutes and 20 seconds long, of Iranian university professor Hasan Bolkhari delivering a lecture on how Walt Disney created the cartoon characters Tom and Jerry after World War II in order to improve the image of Jews. Particularly touching are the shots of serious students diligently taking notes.
"Let's not put all our chickens in one basket."
Moreover, let's not wait until the eggs come home to roost.
Ms. Trigg, the responses to Ms. Yenne and the Durlands have been overwhelmingly dismissive of their stances and supportive of Israelis and their right to defend themselves, and why aren't you commenting here and not on that site?
“The Israelis must realize they are killing their blood brothers, who follow a different faith but share a common heritage and a common dream of better lives for themselves and for their children” – Substitute “Palestinians” for Israelis, then please explain the difference.
When Israel withdrew from Gaza in ’05, the Palestinians could have chosen any type of government and who would represent them. They chose Hamas, who, instead of being concerned with the suffering of the populace and establishing a valid bureaucracy, began importing and smuggling weaponry and building tunnels from which to launch attacks, and now civilians are paying the ultimate price for these actions.
Three questions: Who instigated this round of hostilities? What do you think is a proper Israeli response to the onslaughts (by air and tunnel) they’re facing? What resolution(s) would you propose to end the conflict, both temporarily and permanently?
We need ONE government for all of El Paso County, not the busload we now have.
We need ONE school board for all of El Paso County, not the 15-20 we now have.
We need ONE tax rate for all of El Paso County, not the mishmash we now have.
Am I the only one tired of PAYING for all the duplications and byzantine schemings?
To Whom it may Concern,
I would love to honor my friend Angel Bradley. Her son was bullied by about 50 kids and committed suicide. She has chosen to take her tragedy and turn it into something positive. She is the MOST COURAGEOUS INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN I know! You see Devin did call out for help three times. Twice to the police line and was on the phone with his school counselor for seven minutes. He didn't receive the help that he deserved. Since then Angel lost her marriage (14 years) and her job as a social worker of seven years with a masters degree. Instead of worrying about what others may think she has opened her heart, her, Devin's, and her families story in order to save and help others! As the tears fall down my face I would give ANYTHING to honor her and have the Devin 4 Life Foundation become her full-time career. She has such a passion for people and a gift like no other! As we all know the bullying is out of control these days and suicide rate is way to high! I know you're HUGE against bullying and have such a heart for others as well! It's people like you and Angel that make a difference in this hard world we live in. I really hope she can meet you! Please check out Devin's story at www.devin4life.org. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter! God bless! Much love to you and all you do for people! You're a true hero! Xoxo
P.s. She was also on The Judge Mathis show. Unfortunately she had to sew Devin's dad for half the funeral cost since he refused to help. You can look that story up to see that we're real and there's a few clips on YouTube of our foundation.

Devin was a vibrant and compassionate young man. He was a good student, a loyal friend, and a beloved son. He was not afraid to wear his favorite character “cookie monster” hats and shirts as he loved chocolate chip cookies and was dubbed the cookie monster within his family and circle of friends. H…

These studies of lead poisoning have often been called into question. There are also many things these studies do not address.
Let's take for example a "gut pile" of a deer:
Was the deer shot with A) A cast lead bullet from a rifle? B) Solid lead buckshot from a shotgun? C) Lead slug from a shotgun? D) Jacketed rifle bullet with a copper jacket and lead core? E) Solid lead projectiles from "black-powder" muzzle-loaders? The study does not appear to address this.
It may be that D), which is one of the most common deer hunting projectiles in many states is not a big problem. States like Illinois (one of the states in the study) which restrict deer hunting to shotguns and muzzle-loaders may be the bigger issue since these use primarily solid lead projectiles.
And while there are so-called "green" projectiles, they tend to have a lot of problems and usually are found in rifle loads, which states like Illinois do not allow for deer hunting. The problems in going "green" is in finding a material that is as soft and malleable as lead while also having a similar density and melting point. There just are not that many alternatives out there. Copper, for example, is less dense, much harder, much less malleable, and has a greatly higher melting point.
Perhaps the Indy should hire a cannabis reviewer in addition to its many restaurant and beer reviewers.
Studio A64 is a treasure in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. It has much more room to accommodate many more buffaloes. The Benevolent Order Of Buffaloes offers patrons a unique opportunity to come together as a community and work to better society. We work with legislators to speak for the voice of the people. Let freedom ring!
"Simply pass a law..." Do you really expect this Republican-dominated Congress to break a perfect record by actually passing a piece of legislation? The best that can be hoped for would be for the president to issue an executive order and let Boehner add it to his frivolous law suit.
You don't need to pressure the White House if you simply pass a law that decriminalizes it in the entire US.
No good comes out of Bryan Construction & Scott Bryan!!!
All agreement MUST be in writing in the state of Colorado. Norris has several documents that acknowledge the agreement. He should be repaid for his generosity!
This is a great article, showing so many different perspectives, from those who are truly facing the end of life and the decisions that come with it. It is probably unrealistic to think we know what we will truly feel when we are faced in with those decisions ourselves. I find it encouraging that our generation is talking about death, and thinking about how we want the end of our own life to be.
I am hopeful that Colorado will revisit the laws surrounding physician-assisted death, also known as physician-assisted suicide. Currently there are 4 states that have legalized physician-assisted suicide, but Colorado is not one of them. Those states that have the Death with Dignity Act in place allow patients who are terminally ill to end their suffering and go in peace while under the assistance of a physician. Everyone should be free to choose the comforts they need and request at the end of their life.
This option is not fit for everyone. It is also a very personal and private matter that an individual makes for themselves. A choice, as heavy as this, should be made with the help of a physician, so all of the options are presented before reaching a decision. It helps ease my mind that there are choices and we are discussing them!
Thank you for sharing your article!
The new Over Easy on N. Nevada in University Village is an awesome eatery. GO.
Now I see why she Hates Sheriff Maketa and takes every chance she can to attack him in the Media. He did not support her group or her boy friends causes and actually called them out. Seems Telling that she accuses him of not managing the county's money when he attends the same conference for 1/5 of what she charged the county.
How much is actually contributed to the military families?
Does anyone actually know?
So glad the City has so much money after paying for road repair and storm water drainage that we can pay for a welcome center for the federal government, a hall of fame for a Swiss company that raked in over $8 billion between 2009-2012 and a $90+ million stadium for no team.
So what would happen theoretically, if the property in question was held by a private owner? Could they still be sued by CBD?
You cropped my shot! Nooooo!
