We don’t normally send our dear readers up to Denver when there’s so much good to get up to in the Springs area, but this Tour de Force is too exciting to pass up, and very aptly named — a three-way collaboration among some of the most widely recognized area companies: Colorado Ballet, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and Wonderbound. Featuring brand new works choreographed by Cleo Parker Robinson and Wonderbound’s Garrett Ammon, Tour de Force will pull together the best of all three collaborators and present dance pieces to jazz and soul music, and Beethoven’s Creatures of Prometheus. The program will also include a well-loved work by choreographer Amy Seiwert: Traveling Alone, performed by the Colorado Ballet.
