Protected sex: In or out?

Valentine's Day tip: "The gift that keeps on giving" isn't always a good thing.

So, Planned Parenthood has a gentle reminder for you: This year stick to chocolates and flowers, and keep the herpes, AIDS, genital warts and unwanted pregnancies to yourself.

While condoms may not come in a heart-shaped box, they are something you both can enjoy, and — this just in — Feb. 14-21 is "National Condom Week."

In case you were considering risking it just this once, consider this bit from the press release:
"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released its Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance 2008, which estimated that nearly 19 million STIs occur each year, nearly half of which are among 15- to 24-year-olds."

Condoms! Condoms! Condoms!
  • Condoms! Condoms! Condoms!

Side note: Did you realize that people are making clothes out of condoms??? Seriously, check it out:

Wearing protection: Always sexy.

The new wedding dress: Because virginal is so out.
