The Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce is backing Cullen based on her "small-business experience and her willingness to champion business issues in the State House," the candidate's press release said.

Cullen also has the "association" bloc nailed down, having been endorsed by the Colorado Springs Police Protective Association, Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, Colorado Health Care Association, Colorado Private School Association, Colorado Association of Realtors, Colorado Republican Business Coalition, Colorado Restaurant Association, Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs, Metro Apartment Association, Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition and Pikes Peak Realtors Association.

Cullen, who lost a bid for a Manitou City Council seat a year ago, had raised $24,400 in campaign contributions as of the Sept. 20 report, compared to Lee's $57,700 as of the same date.
