The Springs makes AmericanStyle's list

In case you missed it (because we did): A few months ago, AmericanStyle, a lifestyle magazine devoted to art and travel, named Colorado Springs the No. 17 mid-sized art destination in its Top 25 Cities for Art issue. The top five cities in that category were, in descending order, St. Petersburg, Fla., New Orleans, La., Alexandria, Va., Chattanooga, Tenn. and Buffalo, N.Y.

Colorado did pretty well overall, actually. Denver checked in at No. 15 on the big cities list, beating out San Diego, San Antonio, Las Vegas and Nashville. In the small-town bracket, Boulder and Aspen made the list at Nos. 9 and 21, respectively.
