ROAR sues the state parks board

As we detailed in this week's Noted section, the Rags Over the Arkansas River (ROAR) organization, along with two other entities, has filed suit against the Colorado State Parks Board, claiming the agency violated several of its own rules in approving Christo and the late Jeanne-Claude's proposed Over the River installation.


The suit also calls for an injunction against the board, banning it from approving the project and potentially forcing the OTR Corp. to obtain a special park activities permit (one the group says is fairly restrictive in nature). The group hopes its move will stall the entire project, but a lot of pieces must fall into place for this to happen.

First up: The suit must be approved by a judge before going to court. Here's a copy of both the complaint and the press release outlining the legalese:
