UPDATE: The most coveted of ales ... time is short!

Posted By on Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 2:55 PM

A reminder that the Venetucci Pumpkin ale will be released at 5 tonight at Bristol Brewing Company.

Pre-sale bombers long ago sold out — actually within hours that they went on sale on Oct. 3 — so don't go looking for one of those. Though if you get lucky, you may find one at your favorite liquor store; I'd call ahead.

According to the VPA FAQ on Bristol's website, tonight you'll be able to purchase new-fill growlers — NOT refills — as well as pints.

Good luck with the line and enjoy the fiasco, well worth it for this special local beer.

People of Colorado Springs, if you ever doubt my love, just refer back to this blog post.

So true ... so true.

You see, I'd prefer to quietly sit on the news of Bristol Brewing Company's pre-sale and regular sale dates for its Venetucci Pumpkin Ale.

You know, in the spirit of more for me, less for you, tough shit ye who are uninformed.

But I'm not that guy. So I'm giving all those who aren't on the brewery's newsletter a cordial heads-up. Oh yeah, and there's a six-bottle-per-person limit anyway, so it's not like I could build the Venetucci Pumpkin Ale Armageddon stockpile of my dreams in my crawlspace anyway. (Yeah, I don't have a basement ... what of it?)

So here you go, pumpkin-loving peeps. This very link will direct you to a FAQ with all the rules.

Bomber pre-sales begin Monday, Oct. 3 at noon in the tasting room, to be followed by a tapping at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18 — same sipping spot.

Don't say I never did you any favors.
