Is your Christmas tree still up?

Posted By on Fri, Jan 6, 2012 at 1:06 PM

Before anyone starts wagging a finger at you, here's this: The Manitou Springs High School Symphonic Band will be collecting and recycling Christmas trees Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the east side of Manitou Springs High School (405 El Monte Place). All you have to do is strip it of lights, ornaments and tinsel and the students will do the rest. In return, they will be collecting donations for a school trip this year.

Pickups can be scheduled, too. For more info, contact 685-2645, cwelch@mssd14.org or 685-2646, tbruszewski@mssd14.org.

Now it's on to taking down the Christmas lights. Maybe there's a school group for that, too.
