Textile art FTW

Posted By on Thu, Jul 5, 2012 at 5:07 PM

This week, we profiled Eleanor Anderson, a recent Colorado College grad starting her post-secondary career in art by showing with one of her professors, Jeanne Steiner. Their dual exhibit, Illoominated, opens tomorrow at Marmalade at Smokebrush. Though the work is interesting enough by itself (read our feature here), Anderson is taking it a step further. She and Marmalade have agreed to donate 50 percent of her proceeds to Pikes Peak Chapter of the American Red Cross in response to the Waldo Canyon Fire.

So keep that in mind if you go in a buying mood tomorrow. Here's what you can expect from Anderson:

  • Eleanor Anderson

And from Steiner:

  • Jeanne Steiner
