Changes at RAW mean opportunity for ... you?

Posted By on Mon, Oct 22, 2012 at 6:40 PM

Back when we first covered RAW: natural born artists in September, we met Anna Carver, the showcase director for the Colorado Springs chapter of the organization.

Carver's job was to find the artists and organize the shows, but the part-time waitress also went beyond the usual call of duty — for instance, offering monthly showcase tickets to local gallery owners and other businesses to help her artists make more connections. She also posts often on RAW: Colorado Springs' Facebook page, promoting an Artist of the Day.

But Carver is actually on her way out. Her boyfriend is heading for Oklahoma, and Carver will follow.

“I would love to stay with RAW in some capacity," she says, "if the next place I end up has a RAW showcase already set up. Or maybe they would let me start a new city. So, we’ll see.”

All that said, RAW is looking for her replacement. (It's also hiring in the Boulder and Denver areas.) Qualifications include a few years in event planning and production, strong networking skills, background knowledge in technology and event equipment, and a general ability to make things happen.

Check out the whole rundown, as well as where you can apply, after the jump.
