Fundraising furniture fire-sale for senior services

Posted By on Thu, Nov 1, 2012 at 2:01 PM

Silver Key Senior Services does the work we should all be doing for our parents and loved ones, should we have the time, money and ability. That's why, as with all our local nonprofits, we're happy to list their calls for assistance, usually for things like drivers, funds and furniture.

Well, the shoe's hit the other foot, and now Silver Key wants you to come to its warehouse sale, tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Bott Avenue. As a release says, "Our donors have been so generous over the last few months [that] we have more furniture than we can store or display in our thrift store, Silver & Such."

Here's the details:

The items for sale range from couches and chairs, to tables and bookcases. All of the items are priced to sell and all prices are negotiable.

Silver & Such is a hidden treasure located inside Silver Key Senior Services and the warehouse is just behind Silver Key. Donations of household items arrive every day and all money raised in the store goes directly to support the services provided by Silver Key.
