Business of Art Center to announce new name Oct. 28

The days of the "Business of Art Center/BAC" are coming to an end. By November, Manitou Springs' 25-year-old arts and community center will go by a brand new name and brand.

For a year now, the BAC has been gathering ideas and suggestions for its new name and logo, and they have finally made a choice.

"Ultimately, it came down to 'what best describes who we are and what we do,'" executive director Natalie Johnson says in press materials. "When the names were brought before our board, there was unanimous consensus on the new name and look."

To usher in the title makeover, the BAC will hold a free Big Reveal party Mon., Oct. 28, starting at 4 p.m. You can find the event details here, or take in this riff on Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe," starring Johnson and board chair Kelly Cummings Snyder:
