It's a bit of a gray day on this fine 60-degree Tuesday afternoon in July, and it looks like there's a few more in the forecast, so we're doing the only sensible thing: huddling at our desks and listening to moody music. What follows are the melodic picks from assorted Indy staffers. Feel free to chime in with your cloudy predilections in the comments.

• From culture editor Matthew Schniper: Red House Painter's "Songs for a Blue Guitar":

• From music editor Bill Forman: Irma Thomas' "It's Raining":

• From senior reporter Pam Zubeck: Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly":

• From news editor Robert Meyerowitz: Conway Twitty and Sam Moore singing "Rainy Night in Georgia":

• From digital-content coordinator Craig Lemley: Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billie Joe":

• From reporter J. Adrian Stanley: Neko Case's "Look for Me (I'll Be Around)":

• From reporter Bryce Crawford: Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Little Wing":

• From general manager Carrie Simison: B.o.B's "Airplanes":

• From editorial intern Griffin Swartzell: Vangelis' "La Petite Fille de la Mer":

• From arts editor Edie Adelstein: OutKast's "Toilet Tisha":
