G44 honors late local artist Bill Cummins

Posted By on Tue, Jul 15, 2014 at 2:58 PM

Before passing away in February, Bill Cummins worked with Gundega Spons of G44 Gallery for a solo show happening this year. Cummins picked out all the works for the eponymous exhibit, some of which you'll find below.

Lasting Impressions will open July 18 (opening reception that night, 6-8 p.m.) and stay on display through Sept. 6.

Per the show's verbiage:
Bill Cummins is arguably one of the region’s most interesting outsider artists. His career spans 70+ years and his body of work is in the thousands. ... This exhibit was scheduled last year and he had picked out which pieces he wanted to show. The show is how he had wanted it.
