With just four more days to go before voting closes in the city election, dig through your junk mail to find your ballot and get 'er done.

Check in at this site for where you can drop your ballot, and when, or get a ballot if you didn't receive one.

So far, only 47,628 people have voted, according to the City Clerk's Office's report through Thursday. That's 21.15 percent of the 225,192 ballots to be voted.

That turnout so far compares to 59,193 ballots that had been voted at the same time in the 2011 city election.

At stake in this election are the mayor's contest. Candidates include El Paso County Commissioner Amy Lathen, former City Councilor Joel Miller, former Mayor Mary Lou Makepeace and former Attorney General John Suthers. Other candidates are Tony Carpenter and Lawrence Martinez.

In addition, voters will choose three at-large City Council members from this field, as they appear on the ballot:

Al Loma
Longinos Gonzalez Jr.
Bill Murray
Tom Strand
Vanessa Bowie
Merv Bennett
Vicki Tonkins
Jariah Walker
Yolanda Avila
Jesse Brown Jr.
Glenn Carlson
Nicholas Lee
Joe Woyte

Voters in north District 2 also will select a Council candidate to fill the unexpired term of Miller, who resigned to run for mayor. Candidates are Larry Bagley and Kanda Calef.
