New brewery and distillery open Saturday

  • Lee Spirits won't be serving out of crystal, but the fine fashion front speaks to a classy atmosphere. So dress the part.
Tomorrow marks the opening of two new hooch enterprises locally.
 
First up, as featured in this week's Side Dish column, Lee Spirits Co. will open its gin-based speakeasy at 110 E. Boulder St., with signage from the street actually directing patrons into Brooklyn's on Boulder Street, a men's tailor shop. 

Doors open at 5 p.m. with a directive to ring the bell for service and dress to impress. 

Next, Peaks N Pines Brewing Company opens as well tomorrow, at 11 a.m. at 4005 Tutt Blvd.  

Here's its premiere line-up of beers: 
(ACBF Award Winning) Switchback Blonde Ale
Buddybuck American Brown Ale
“Ginger, NOT Mary Ann” Ginger Beer 
Peaks N Pines Stellar Stout
Pumpkin Spice Seasonal Ale
Walk-off IPA 
Proceeds from the first week will be donated to reforesting efforts in the Colorado burn areas via the Colorado Tree Coalition
