Spring is just around the corner — an all too distant corner, perhaps, but a corner nonetheless. So it’s only fitting that the Black Sheep is already making plans for a rare outdoor parking lot performance, the most recent of which was their July 2017 show featuring Reel Big Fish, The Queers, and The Expendable. This year’s first such event will take place on May 23 and feature Sevendust, the Atlanta alt-metal band that’s scored nine Top 20 albums over the past two decades, as well as a string of succinctly titled singles that includes “Denial,” “Waffle,” “Praise,” and “Enemy.” Additional acts will be announced in the months ahead.

In the meantime, here’s the rest of this week’s new show announcements.
