This may be a good week for short-notice concert announcements like Pam Tillis at Tri-Lakes, and for far-off shows like Ministry at the Fillmore, but — unless you’re a big Kidz Bop Live enthusiast — not a whole lot in between. Except, that is, for rabid fans of the post-punk bands Wire and Minimal Compact, whose respective leaders Collin Newman and Malka Spigel are bringing their all-instrumental project Immersion to the Larimer Lounge. Along the way, you’ll also find shows by Midwest hardcore band Bruise, Austin indie-pop act Carry Illinois, and L.A. nu-metal band Orgy, who shall forever be known as “that band who did the cover of New Order’s ‘Blue Monday.’”

That said, here’s this week’s full list of new show announcements.
