After a relatively dry spell, this week’s new show announcements have suddenly tripled in comparison to recent weeks. Much of that increase comes courtesy of Summit Music Hall, which is closing on June 21 for a summer makeover and will reopen its doors on Sept. 6 to host electronic music collective STS9, who will also be headlining Red Rocks the following two nights.

Other newly booked Summit shows include a Stones Throw Records package tour headlined by Mayer Hawthorne, an industrial-strength Gwar/Hatebreed bill, art-pop chanteuse Lily Allen, and prescription-rapper Lil Xan.

Meanwhile, for those who prefer to supersize their concert experience, the Pepsi Center will be gifting us with Nicki Minaj and Future, the MOR-rock “Kool Koncert” package, and a newly added second evening with Drake.
