Halestorm, Lenny Kravitz and, um, John Tesh top new show announcements

If you’re a fan of what the record industry has designated “mainstream rock,” you can rejoice in the fact that the 1stBANK Center just announced a December 1 date with Halestorm, the band that in recent years has topped that particular chart with their hits “Freak Like Me,” “Apocalyptic,” “Amen” and, earlier this year, “Uncomfortable.”

Then again, if your rejoicing preferences lean more toward Christian pop, you could just stay closer to home and see John Tesh at Springs Church on Oct. 11. And as long as you’re in a spiritual mood, don’t miss the African Children’s Choir, who are featured in this week’s Indy music interview, when they play a free concert this coming Sunday at Colorado Springs’ Bethel Lutheran Church.
