Lola Black's album release show tops new concert announcements

Some Denver acts never bother to play Colorado Springs; others come here regularly enough to build enthusiastic local followings. Multiple Westword Music Award winner Lola Black falls squarely into the latter camp. So it should come as no surprise that she’ll be playing the Black Sheep next month to celebrate her forthcoming album Nothing's Gonna Be Alright, which reunites her with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper producer Bob Marlette. You can scroll down to view the pre-release video for its slow-burning title track, which finds the black-clad rocker roaming around town with a baseball bat and questionable intent.
