A pair of new faces will join the Harrison School District 2 Board of Education in November, after being declared winners by acclamation Sept. 5 — because they were the only candidates for two seats.

Regina English and Corey Williams will each serve four-year terms on the D-2 board. They will fill positions currently held by Kelley Pomis and Keith Varney.

Voters in Colorado Springs School District 11, on the other hand, will be asked which candidates of eight hopefuls should fill four seats on its board. The candidates, in alphabetical order, are: Mary Coleman, Darleen Daniels, Jason Jorgenson, Parth Melpakam, Vincent Puzick, Conner Sargent, Joseph Shelton and Chris Wallis.

The board consists of seven members, and seats currently up for grabs are held by Elaine Naleski, Theresa Null, Coleman and Nora Brown.
