Ralph Routon

Ralph Routon

Ralph Routon has spent most of his journalism career in Colorado Springs, but since becoming the Independent's executive editor in 2007, he's much more comfortable admitting he and Bill Clinton (and, of course, Mike Huckabee) are from a place called Hope, Ark. Ralph spent 2001-06 on a mid-life odyssey to Texas and Florida, but the Indy, family and the mountains won out. Drawing on his varied experiences and perspectives, Ralph helps steer the Indy ship while writing occasional columns: Between the Lines (politics and everyday life) and End Zone (sports).
