Re: “Handicapping the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees

One of the most glaring omissions, in my opinion, is Warren Zevon. When will his time come? The second, and more debatable omission is John McLaughlin. He helped Miles Davis, a HOF Inductee, pioneer Jazz-Rock fusion, and then took it one step further with the formation Mahavishnu Orchestra and Shakti respectively. The genre-bending/ creating McLaughlin should have a place next to his peers.

Re: “Dave Arvizu reunites Colorado Springs’ Big Back Yard

This show is also serving a cause. With the launch of Whistle Pig Brewing seasonal favorite, "Squeezin's" pink lemonade beer, Whistle Pig will be donating $1 from each one sold through June 15th to support a local family. The family is facing unknown costs associated with a baby born 12 weeks premature. Medical bills for Mom, and additional expenses, and medical for baby. Other donations are deeply appreciated. The family is special and needs our help.

Re: “Taylor Swift cements her position as 2017’s most important pop artist

Lol, taylor swift was never country, she was a poser, fake country accent at all, and they never lived on a real christmas tree farm either thats as big of a lie as her claiming for over ten years that she taught herself to play the guitar and then threatening one of the 4 guitar teachers she had (ronnie cremer) with a lawsuit to shut him up, protect her lie ( like she has been doing to writers and bloggers for over ten years) and trying to illegally force him to give her a website he owned. And nothing about her is important she has no talent and has built a career off of BS articles like this nonsense you wrote hyping her up. Give us a break will you lol please.

Re: “Record Store Day's Black Friday offerings are beyond special

RSD has become a commercial money grab that stresses every U.S. based pressing plant to the point that almost all the RSD offerings are either pressed or engineered like crap. First couple years, before commercialism, RSD was a celebration for record lovers, but now it's an overpriced, obnoxious reason to buy crappy offerings.

Re: “Monsters of Madness implodes, but Sizzlefest is a go

Just a correction to the Monsters event originally scheduled in Yoder. There were no petition filed. Promoters failed to apply for or obtain appropriate permits from the county, nor did they own or secure the actual property the event was advertised on.

Re: “Stormy weather: A winter playlist

Omg, just cause you know Kate Bush, and you're in Colorado, you are my new Hero!! I got to see her in England two years ago, it was amazing!! I live in Aurora. Thank you, the LP 50 Words For Snow is beautiful. She is underrated here in the US and is one of the most influential, extremely talented vocalists, an amazing composer, and one of the best lyricists of our times. The US needs to get it together. This Woman's Work is awesome!!
