Re: “The Trough caters cocktail-making services for special events

What a great idea for outdoor parties and weddings! I'm sure this idea will catch on quickly.

Re: “Thirty Three cocktail lounge banks on exclusivity

What a joke. Just open a decent bar and stop trying to be cute. If you get as busy as the Cruise room or Death and Co up in Denver (who regularly have a large waiting list just to sit down) then possibly consider a "membership" model. Putting the cart before the horse and trying to generate buzz with exclusivity in Colorado Springs is a recipe for failure. 15C has struggled for years and multiple owners trying this model. Good luck you will need it.

Re: “Local homebrewer wins national distribution deal

Congratulations, your artistic brews sound interesting especially the drunken churro. Quite an accomplishment I'm sure your family is proud. I'm also from SD, grew up 35th & National Ave neighborhood and went to Memorial with your husbands father and uncle, Richard and Robert. Start your own craft brewery business build it up then sell it to Anheuser Bush for millions!!! Good luck!

Re: “The Bench brings sports bar fare to the New South End

ecoolEye09. If The Bench has found a way to keep the hipsters away, then I may have found a new watering hole. Just because the staff and patrons are sporting lumberjack beards, man-buns and feel most comfortable in their girlfriends jeans doesn't make a place either hipper or better; it does make it unoriginal, clich and just plain boring though. Let me guess: the T.V.s interfere with your ability to be heard when talking about how #woke you are and what you're vaping on?

I love Odyssey Gastropub. I work near downtown and I will definitely be trying out the Bench very soon.

Re: “The Bench brings sports bar fare to the New South End

You lost me at the Coors light part. When will bars stop serving that piss? Sorry...gonna have to skip this place. And another place with TV's all over (well...I guess it is a sports bar). We live just off downtown and frequent the hipper/better places (503, cerberus, Pig Latin) and the one thing those dont have (or have few of) is TV's. Turn off the TV's folks....a place is so much better when there are no TV's and people are talking with each other. Make the vibe good and no TV's are needed. (which reminds me we tried the Colorado Craft Social and it was not good...but they spent lots of money on the large tv's in the bar). Who wants to spend 15-25 bucks on a dish and have a TV with 12 sports around them? yuck....

Thank you,

Re: “Denver Biscuit Company trifecta moving to downtown Colorado Springs

I frequent the one on Broadway in Denver even though I live down here. I am extremely excited to have one locally. I will do my best to single-handedly keep them in business.

Re: “Vibes opens in former Castaways Bar and Venue

Awesome to know. We are moving out to Colorado and appreciate good healthy alternatives. I am currently an assistant chef and night manager of a local raw vegan organic restuarant and will need some where to go lol
