Re: “Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care

Horrible. We never dealt with a hospice company before, thank goodness but this is horrible. We were given a case manager hospice nurse ( monique) well my mon fell at home july 4th and we were told call 24.7 we are here. 1st lie. I called and they said give her morphine its a holiday. Well her care giver was called first thing next morning because my mom was in pain, of course no answer so i called on call and another lady showed up right away. Well to my understanding her care giver was there also but come to find out showed up at 230pm then out at 330 cause she was starving. My mom was transported to the nursing home and when she got here she was covered from head to toe in pee. The nurses and ambulance driver even stated how no one cleaned her up. I call this company and asked who responsible for the pee and they said hospice. So it being after hrs i complained to who ever would listen since the on call nurses dont answer. They statrd the pee happened during transport but cant explain why its all over the bed and couch she was on. Hmmmm. By the way i was with her during transport she didnt pee.

Fwd to today her care giver monique comes into the room at the home. I never seen her before so had no idea. She introduced herself and i asked for the new nurse. In a confrontational way she asked why. I said yes because my mom was covered in piss. She stated she only spent an hour with my mom that day so not her responsibility. I said what an hour!! And you go at 330 were starving??? She said excuse me and I asked her to leave becausr shes so unprofessional. My mother is dying and she wants to argue in my moms room.

I called the company and they are saying they know the caregiver left at 430 not 330. What shit shes obviously lying on her.time. i have been treated with crap from this place in such a small time. Compassionate people is bull here. I met 2 girls that had hearts only.

Re: “Feline Body Language by Train with Trust

I'm crabby as I write this so keep that in mind.
I drove from across town, got delayed by an accident, arrived 5 minutes late to lights on, cars in parking lot and locked doors with no one answering the phone. It's just a big, fat boooooooooo.

Re: “Mr. and Miss Gay Colorado Springs Pageant

Will the festivities be followed by one of Club Q's orgy parties? Oh, I guess not...they discriminate -- guys only. Sorry ladies.

"The orgy party last Monday was HUGE. Yes - litterally! ;-) At last count there were about 30 guys in attendance and everyone had a great time. Without going into any details - it was an orgy in the truest sense of the word. AWESOME!

For those of you that have never been, here’s how it works. Since this is a private event hosted by GO USA (gay orgy USA), you don’t need a membership. The doors open at 8:00pm and close at 8:30. This way everybodies in the cluband ready to have fun without being interrupted by late cummers! It is B.Y.O.B. - GO USA provides cups, ice and mixers. It is 100% discreet and no need to be concerned.

Bring some extra cash with you...we carry different types of lubes and toys..."

Re: “Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind

This would have been a fantastic show. I've been looking forward to seeing Jason Ricci and The Bad Kind for a very long time. Consumate musicians, honest and commited.
Unfortunately, despite a signed legal contract, Songbird Cellars broke that contract only a week before the scheduled event, leaving fans AND the band in the lurch. Musicians and fans deserve, at the very least, for venues to honor their commitments. Shabby treatment of working musicians does not speak well for a venue that claims to support live music and those who bring it. Please add a "Zero Stars" option for Reviews/Comments.

Re: “PILLAR Classes

I took many classes for two semesters in this institute.
Although I am a U.S. citizen, lived in U.S. 50 years, during which years I was a student and worked in California mostly at Hewlett-Packard and received my high education in this country; attended 1 year University of Colorado in Denver, rest of my education in California; retired and have been living in Colorado Springs, and have been a life-time student all my life, I was DISCRIMINATED BY THE GROUP.

I was constantly criticized that I was asking too many questions in the class and that I was late all the time and insisted sitting at the front of the class.

I was late no more than 2-3 times during the past 6 months which is no more than those also time to time were late to the class.

One morning I was 3 minutes late to the class the host would not allow me to enter the class. A few days after the incident a woman came 15 minutes late and had no problem entering the class.

Finally, two days ago, when I went by their office to pick up a file folder I had left in one of the class I was asked to step in to the office of the woman who was assistant to the director and again was told I was asking too many questions, late to the class, monopolizing the class and these complaints were being made by the hosts and the attendees of the class.

These claims are not true.
I was always uncomfortable with the reception of the hosts, and general very cold and unfriendly climate of the group except for the instructors who are outsanding and always thanked when they were asked questions.

During this meeting I was told, "in this country we do things differently, not like in your country, sit on your hands in the class"

As I had paid $500.00 for the semester and were really interested attending the class, always loved to learn, I apologized and left.

I came home and re-evaluated the hole experience with this institution and realized how tensed I used to feel to go to the class and be subject to the cold, unfriendly hosts and most of the attendees, I called and expressed that I belived I am being discrimated and unwelcome therefore I will not be attending to their classes. Her response "I am sorry it wokred iut that way". I asked if I could be reimbursed for the unused portion of the classes which amount to $420.00, the answer was "no".

I called my credit card company filed a dispute.

I lived in this country fifty years, I have never, not once felt discrimaated. I speak very good English, I do have accent and I am from Middle East and in these classes I definitely felt my presence made others uncomfortable.

I am sad

Re: “Cocker Spaniel Adoption Event

many people do not realize that male cockers can get pretty grumpy as they become mature. They might be cute but cockers are not really the best choice for a pet-especially around children.

Re: “The Lantern Fest

Beautiful idea that was terribly organized. Huge lines of hundreds of people with no volunteers or signs to direct traffic. The only way to get in and out of the festival was a cramped tunnel under the raceway that everyone crammed and pushed their way through. Definitely a fire hazard. No security and no one checking tickets.

We tried to make the best of everything and got some beautiful pictures of other people lighting their lanterns and roasting smores....since we never got our supplies. It was an incredible sight, but management should take a serious look at their organization and safety planning for an event of that size before I would recommend anyone going and purchasing a ticket.

Re: “Steven Wright

Add a review of what? A show that is yet to be, the PP Center, the blurb writer? OK, the blurb writer and his mention of "my generation" that had something else but everyone else has this... What does that mean? Was the blurber paid for this? Where can I sign on for a writing gig that consists of writing almost nothing and pays even more?
What a proud nation of idiots we are. That was a rhetorical answer.

Horrific. They remove palliative care as soon as patient is classified as Hospice. They answer to the state and NOT to the patient. One or two good employees. Mostly afraid of medical mal-practice. Really VERY un-spiritual. Do not care about patients AT ALL.

Re: “Garlic Fest 2013

Very disappointing. Expected aroma and flavor of garlic. Just barely got a whiff. Only four salsas in contest and none of them boasted a garlic flavor. No beer. Garlic growing class was just a short film with information that could be easily found on Youtube.

Re: “Mystic 7

Mystic 7, cover band. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But their repertoire seems to be stuck in 1986. Poorly executed pop rock, coupled with tired vocals leaves one wishing for a DJ. And personally, I loathe DJs. Oh! Lets not forget that the bass player has a fan blowing to make his hair gently waver like so many bad videos.

Do yourself a favor, and avoid going into any venue allowing Mystic 7 to make noise within their establishment.

Re: “Colorado Springs Oktoberfest

We went on family day and it wasn't very family friendly. There was nothing for our kids to do, it was a very small event, the food wasn't that good, and was over priced. It was a waste of my time and money. Will not be going again
