Re: “Notary duties by the book

Garrett Swasey isn't mentioned in this article. Based on your posts you must either be in law enforcement, in which case your comments show a lack of professionalism at best, or you're retired from the force in which case you get to attack people and make accusations based only on your prejudices. In other words, a troll.

Re: “El Paso County jail is home to people too poor to pay fines or make bail

Yet another business engaged with the Prison Industrial Complex. Forced contracts for "defendants" should be unconstitutional and probably are. This "war" is Spiritual, as well as physical/legal/lawful. In the name of Yeshua.

Re: “Let history and the 25th Amendment inform efforts on impeachment

I found this article by Baynard Wood highly amusing. Now the "shoe" is on the other "foot", in that many of us from the "right/conservative" side deeply wanted Barack Obama impeached, yet also knew who/why was next (Joe Biden). Having to remove upwards of ten or more in the succession order wasn't viable. Now, with CEO Trump, this same dilemma presents itself to the "left/liberal" side. Praise YHVH-God, in the name of Yeshua!!!

Re: “Reader: Aren't nuclear weapons arms?

The right is not dependent on the militia, the militia is dependent on the right.

Re: “CSPD sergeant arrested

Don't know who reads these posts but we live in Canon City and an officer was involved in my sisters murder somehow and in some way when he had a personal storage unit that was sold with evidence of her murder was in it! How stupid do you have to be to do that? Now he has minimal charges and retires with full pay, fuck that we as civilizations would be in prison!!! Look it all up! Candice Hiltz from Canon City,Colorado killed in 2006 and that piece of shit Robert Dodd aka our protection and servant!!! Let me know what you think and how you would perceive the police department??? George the oldest brother at ge@goactioncat.com

Re: “Uber hit with $8.9 million civil penalty

Many cab drivers, and very likely Uber and other transportation providers are ex- convicts. They get out of prison with pristine driving records. No violations for 10 to 25 years probably looks pretty good on a resume.

Re: “Reader: Aren't nuclear weapons arms?

"OK Dave H. Since you want to cite the Militia Act of 1790, when are you called to muster?" - Dave T.

Doesn't matter. The right to arms belongs to the people. Participation in a militia is not a prerequisite to the right. The Militia Act I cited simply gives an idea as to what "arms" consist of and has no bearing on who has the right.

"Hint: Look up the Militia Act of 1903. It states who the Well Regulated Militia is."

Nope. It states who the organized and reserve militia is. The term "well regulated" appears nowhere in it. But again, the right is not reserved to the militia, it belongs to the people.

Hint: Look up the Militia Act of 1903. It states who the Well Regulated Militia is.

Another hint: It's not you. Or Holmes. Or Richard Nascak. Or Jay Whynotaskme. Or Oath Keepers. Or the idiot at the Bundy Ranch pointing his gun at BLM agents.

Re: “El Paso County jail is home to people too poor to pay fines or make bail

@apathetic Oh yeah, this poor poor victim. She was in possession of methamphetamine. Not much sympathy here. It's not news to anyone that it is ILLEGAL to posses meth. So she ended up in jail? Good!

Holmes:

Spell check is your friend. Dispicable?

Again...a rant with no supporting data. If you are trying to convince people to rethink their positions, you have failed.

Re: “Loving Vincent

A amazing, unique film. I felt immersed in Van Gogh's world not as an observer, but as a pigment in his paint. The textures, the colors, the rendering of his art. Please do not miss this, especially if you are a painter or you love paintings!

Re: “Reader: Notary misconduct is not unique

Notarization is a relic and has no purpose in modern society. Fortunately the affidavits in question did not require notarization in the first place!

Re: “One chronicle of street (and other sexual) harassment in Colorado Springs

I feel very sorry for any woman who suffers this type of abuse. As a woman who is 5`8" and strong I don't suffer as much because I adopt an intimidating persona in public places and if someone is rude or out of line I address it immediately and forcefully. I would suggest that small or frail women carry a stun gun.

Re: “Spring's downtown bicycle infrastructure progresses despite growing pains

Feels like the majority residents do not matter and only very small interest group does. Not at all happy with the changes dowtown.. Just more traffic issues and less ability to get to shops.
