Re: “Guns and private jets

Umm. There is no response to this that will convince the writer he is actually speaking nonsense. So I won't bother.
Have a nice day John, hopefully you will relax before someone decides you're a candidate for the red flag law.

Re: “Womxn’s March must overcome challenges

With the rise of rape in such momentous numbers, and an almost doubled amount from last year, ( United States from 1993 to 2018, by gender. In 2018, about 652,700 women were raped or sexual assaulted in the U.S. - a significant increase from the 363,400 victims reported in the previous year.) we better stop caretaking other fights, like trans, immigration, and even the environment, and try to protect our daughters. I do not get the Jewish thing...they have a vagina right? This is what exposes a female since birth to violence, and rape. In fact, most females are raped by family members or acquaintances. I do not need to be inclusive. I need to protect anyone born with a vagina as a mother and grandmother. I will probably sit this march out. I am told I am using hate speech because I do not believe anyone given the choice of being a woman cannot tell someone with a vagina who a woman is. A woman in this society always has a penis telling us who or what we are. They all decide that my vagina did not cause me to be who I am, I am told I had a choice. Any human with a vagina knows that we are looked at as inferior by this society at birth, I am a rape victim 3 times from different men before the age of 13. This experience was given to me only because I had a vagina and was deemed a possession of men. We have plenty to fight for without caretaking others fights, though I support everyone to be equal. However, till women are seen as equal and receive equal justice, pay, and rights, our fight should concentrate on protecting our female children so that we can make this a safer world for everyone. The main theme of any woman’s March should be the safety of female children in their own family, Maybe, if we start there we can change the world for everyone.

I'm glad President Trump has harnessed the intellectual power of people like you. Your posts tell us all we need to know about why we're in the constant crises that flow from incompetence, ignorance, and arrogance.

Re: “Trump’s enablers will leave a stain on entire Republican party

Look! We knew he was a douchebag before he ran for president, he told us. After seeing what he's accomplished, I feel some voters and all of Washington DC just aren't used to results so they continue their close-mindedness. The man could singlehandedly save a school bus of children, adopt every kitten at the pound, and end world hunger and you still wouldn't be happy. I'm not Rep/Dem, I vote common sense. This bunch of loonies running on the left are seriously out of touch with reality.

Re: “Revisiting a shocking triple murder

You write « the triple slaying that took the lives of Tony Dutcher, 15, Carl Dutcher, 60, and Joanna Dutcher, 58, on Dec. 31, 1999 »
Actually the triple murder happened on Mon 01 jan 2001, i.e. 1 day AND ONE YEAR later than you wrote, as can be verified on the excellent photo of the grave that you appropriately posted in this article:
https://media2.fdncms.com/csindy/imager/a-temporary-stone-for-the-dutchers/u/zoom/2931402/ghoststories1-1_filephoto.jpg
Otherwise I thank you for this sensible article.

Re: “Southeast Springs artist Rizzo embraces activism in her work

Patience,

Your past couple of columns have been a change from those of the past. These are stories that acknowledge cultural issues relating to black Americans, but have lacked the anti-white sentiment we have seen in the past.

The change is refreshing. Thank you!

Re: “Gold Camp Road to close nightly?

I am not afraid of appearing foolish, Ms. Davis. Are you? If you are afraid of appearing foolish, how will you ever learn or do anything with your life?

By the way, one need not be "intelligent" to click on a link. Some very stupid people do it all the time. Nevertheless, I expect to find the whole story in the news article itself, and only miscellaneous details in the links, so I never click on them unless I have a keen interest in the question.

I did make a mistake and I do acknowledge it. Even people very much smarter than I, make mistakes sometimes.

Re: “Gold Camp Road to close nightly?

@Mr. K

Sorry, you have to be intelligent to click on the links and read the WHOLE story. I'll make it easy for you:

"The proposal requests the permit in order to allow the City to restrict motor vehicle access to a section of Gold Camp Road in order to prevent unauthorized access and activities, address public safety concerns, and prevent resource damage during the hours the park is closed to the public."

Next time, try and get all the facts BEFORE you comment so you don't end up looking foolish.
