Re: “Opioid limits are hurting some, who say they need the drugs

Yes Andy- and it does suck. No ones asks for this and likes to deal with this. It is a strict process and I walk on eggshells. I cannot even see if MJ would help me as it violates my contract.

I am not having issues walking and suspect it's tied to my spine problem.

So easy for others to make judgements on situations they have not gone through or dealt with extremes such as yourself (and me for that matter).
I am so tired of it. I do understand it to an extent. However, people should open their minds up (and hearts) and truly reflect on everyone who is affected. Should we simply take the approach of taking us less than useful individuals and drop us off in the woods as was done in the past in some ways? Understanding the full scope is very critical to this issue.

If we need more restrictions- so be it. As long as those who sadly and truly require these necessary evils can still live at least a modicum of life vs. dying from pain which I know I certainly would. I have zero interest in using needles and street drugs. I'd really prefer to have my old life back.

Good luck to you.

Re: “Reader: This much is unclear on stormwater

Those are great points. The storm water fee is to create a revenue stream that some fool put in the Southern Delivery contract and now want to act like there is n emergency.

Suthers is another fool who thought he could get this fee and promised a fix to the EPA.

Re: “Opioid limits are hurting some, who say they need the drugs

Include me in the, "must haves" and being impacted by CDC guidelines/rules.

With script in hand and carefully working with my doctors, I need my opiate script just to function as nothing else works.

Re: “I-25 widening project eyes more funding

I was ready to vote in favor of the ballot measures to keep funding for expanding I-25, but I'm not going to vote in favor of money going to create toll lanes. That's ridiculous.

Re: “Mikey Weinstein talks “fighting words” and the military’s religious oppression in the Trump era

This has been proven an absolute lie my Mikey Weinstein which he is very good at doing to make him look good. Even a pagan refutes Mikey's claims. I demand that Mikey publically renounces his statements and apologizes to all Christians - http://christianfighterpilot.com/2017/10/18/pagans-dispute-mikey-weinsteins-claims-of-forced-christian-event/

Re: “The Indy's picks for the 2017 Coordinated Elections

Storm water infrastructure should already be a budgeted item, since the need is obvious and ongoing. No one is explaining why it is not already in the budget. Until I see a reason for the failure to budget for storm water, I see no basis for approving a new stormwater program.

Re: “Let voters decide, stormwater task force says

In 2009 we paid a storm water fee based on the estimated water run-off from your property. The city collected millions. What happened to the money? Why wasn't the storm water system repaired with that money? Do be taken in again. Vote NO on 2E.

Re: “Let voters decide, stormwater task force says

Do not be fooled. The $5 monthly fee added to your utility bill seems innocent enough, but the city can raise that fee any time to any amount for any length of time.

Mikey--Thank you for articulating the predatory, opportunistic, and base nature of Christian fundamentalism. And thank you for holding Lt. Gen. Silveria accountable for this clear omission of people who are transgender, lgbq, or of another faith or no faith. I personally commend your efforts and hope you continue this important work.

Re: “UPDATE: Felony charges dismissed against John San Agustin

I have entered this race to change the culture in the Sheriff's Office, provide some new leadership, and to restore the public trust. The endless lawsuits must stop and fiscal discipline return. We've been penning a series about the money issues there. Here's the latest. https://angley4sheriff.org/2017/10/20/foll…

Re: “Audience counters Douglas Bruce at election forum

Mayor Suther's was testy and almost seemed to be yelling at the audience while he blamed Bruce for pot holes and rain water. Wasn't it BACH and a most conservative Council that signed off on a Delivery system that required a revenue stream? Yes it was. Wasn't it BACH that screwed around with PPRTA so the City didn't receive the money it had in the past for pot holes - Yes it was.

Stop blaming Tabor for poorly worded ballot measures that do not ensure that once approved would allow increases without voter approval. The lady for d11 was not well voiced on several items.

Vote NO all around!

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

@JamesTurner You wrote: "If your goal is crowd defense, you should have side arms not rifles. Look at the secret service."

Are you kidding? You don't know much about the Secret Service. Do a Youtube search for "Secret Service fake arms" and watch the video. Yes, the agents walking along with Trump and his family have fake arms in their jacket. Why? Because each has one real arm exposed and one real arm under their long coat. And what are they holding under their long coats? Short rifles.

Ballots are out. Points pro and con have been made in various venues. Is it your opinion the stormwater measure 2A will pass or fail? Thank you.

Thanks for the update on the article. The corruption in Bill Elder's Sheriff's Office is slowly coming to a boil.
