Re: “Jake & Telly’s Greek Taverna stays strong 20 years on

Jake and Telly's Greek Taverns is the place to go for authencity...in ambience and Greek cuisine. Love every moment and every bite I have experienced there. Always look forward to returning!

Re: “Jake & Telly’s Greek Taverna stays strong 20 years on

This place is only OK. It's kind of like all the BBQ places in this area - most are OK, but none knocks your socks off. If you want Greek it will do, but it doesn't rival anyplace authentic. Part of it is access to fresh and local Greek ingredients, and part is simply no local Greek community to keep them focused.

Re: “Bristol Brewing Company adds canning line

So, not adding a canning line. Maybe adds a line of cans? Or something not the opposite of what the story says.
Just Nitpicking.

Re: “Grinder Sandwich Company eyes October opening

I do not know where he got this story or description of grinders.
A submarine, a sub is know in other parts of the tri state area as a wedge, hoagie, hero or grinder. It's a sandwich on a long roll.

Re: “Grinder Sandwich Company eyes October opening

He's thinking of a "garbage grinder." A grinder is just another name for "sandwich" in New England. Doesn't mean open-faced, hot anything. Go to NE and find a shop that says "grinders" and you will not find an open-faced one anywhere. Not a big deal, just strange he is defining it this way.

Re: “From-scratch food kills at Colorado Coffee Merchants

I used to work there and everything is delicious I would watch Steffi make things and it always smelled so amazing that is the best place to get amazing tasting food at a cheaper price

Re: “Revisiting Shuga's consistency

The review is correct. The service is slow and they run out of things like beets.
The one consistency is the great taste in that soup that also sort of changes by the batch.

Re: “Revisiting Shuga's consistency

I've had mixed results at Shuga's many times over the past few years. I have quit going and no longer recommend them to friends.

Re: “Revisiting Shuga's consistency

That's a bummer. They usually do a great job. Off night, most likely. I'd better go repeat the experiment... :)

Re: “Whirlyball to bring recreation, craft beer to central Springs

What has happened with Whirlyball? Apparently it was flooded during one of the big storms. Will it ever reopen?

I agree with the post above. Not necessary for an article about food.
