Re: “Cory Gardner wants less red tape around medical marijuana research

Suzi you should send Gardner an email or call him if you are that serious.

Let' remember that the GOP has a long standing tradition of using marijuana to attract young voters.

Re: “Former County Democratic Party leader forms new club to keep politicking

Did you bother to read the article? Because it wasn't me that talked shit about the leadership of the local party to an Indy reporter. Bitch at me all you want... while ignoring the divisiveness that Liz generated to create this article. Yay you.

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

Would it be okay if people who are truly progressive -- that is, renouncing violence in all forms -- declined the so-called "protection" that this group of mixed up people wants to offer? I understand that neo-nazis and reactionaries are bad and can be violent against those who oppose them, but nothing is to be gained by empoloying those same tactics. We need to work for a world free of violence and guns, and learn different, peaceful methods if our world is to evolve and survive. I suspect that the turn out will dwindle at future protests that this group is involved with, as few anti-Trump policy people feel comfortable with their actions. They might as well be working for the other side if they are going to be introducing guns on the side of the opposition movement. I never thought I'd hear the words "guns" and "progressive" used in the same sentence.....

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

Owning a weapon does not make you a violent person nor does it make you right or left. Many threats were made against local protestors. What would you do? Just quit showing up? Then those threatening win.

The 2nd amendment is for all. These people have been training and continue to train in proper use and care. They are not stock piling weapons and ammunition as so many did just because there was a black President.

If owning a rifle or gun means you are planning a war then we need to review the 2nd amendment. You cannot live in a state that allows open carry then complain when someone does.

Don't like it? Go vote to change the 2nd amendment or open carry. Get active quit word whipping those who follow the law of the land.

Re: “Cory Gardner wants less red tape around medical marijuana research

Dear S.Senator Gardner, I know that some people have this image of stoners when when thinking about cannabis. Smoking anything either tobacco or cannabis at first glance has that connotation. However, please know that it is also a much better choice for souls like myself who have been suffering for decades with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia and glaucoma. Cannabis becomes a gateway out of all the opiates, Benzos and other expensive and other both expensive & damaging prescriptions I have been on for a long time.Call me 731-613-8822. I have more to say than can fit into this little box. With Respect, Susi Marcy- Sisco

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

I'd pay good money for the limp-wristed sissies to start a "redneck revolution". They think they can just go buy a cheap ass gun, shoot a few rounds at a paper target and take on millions of Americans who were born and raised shooting and killing shit since they were old enough to pick up a gun. On top of that, the overwhelming majority of the military, vets and cops would be on our side as well so the fairies wouldn't last five fucking minutes in a real gun fight.

Re: “Colorado election system targeted

Scanning the voter registry in Colorado involves a google search for colorado voter registry. The results are about 20 websites that have the entire database on- line. If youre a registered voter and are not law enforcement or VIP then you will find all your personal identity info there along with your party affiliation. Some yokels thought this would curb voter fraud. If you dont like this data for free, you can purchase it in a format ready for printing targeted mailers and junk advertising, from the State of Colorado, some fees and charges may apply. See coloradovoters. info

Well that was mighty white of them, bless their little hearts. Was that back in 65 or 67?

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

How come in this story they are all carrying "semi-automatic rifles" and in every other story targeting the pro-gun lobby, the NRA, republicans or ANY other group they would have been labeled "assault weapons"

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

A lot of fascist enablers in the comments here, taking various forms:

* Fascists in cover, using false equivalencies to forward a narrative that both sides are just as bad (yeah, wanting to gas jews is just as bad as not wanting to?), in order to keep liberals from going left and opposing them, when they're acutely aware liberals will never explicitly join them, even though liberals have a history of supporting fascists in the end, as they did in the Weimar Republic

* Pacifist concern trolls who would rather let the fascists kill people in silence rather than hear those people fight back, because their personal comfort is more important than the ability of other people to live, since they know the people they claim to abhor so much don't have them in their sights

* Denialist concern trolls begging the question of how fascism and white supremacy are defined. I'll lay these out for you:
- Fascism: corporate and government elite in collusion to maintain a strict hierarchy, modified by extreme "futurist" mentality and obsession with systemic efficiency, fueled by a complete rejection of egalitarianism
- White supremacy: the belief that whites are both somehow physiologically superior and must own and control everything on the planet, at the expense of (and often by the killing of) other ethnic groups

* Outright reactionaries who are incapable of introspective thought, taking criticism as signs they are "doing something right" which is a manifestation of an antisocial (in the clinical sense) worldview, who want to act with complete impunity, even - or especially - if it means the destruction of others or their works, because they get off to the idea of screwing someone else over, like sociopaths

Re: “Skorman proclamation recognizes Indigenous People's Day

Dear god. This man will say and do anything to see his name in print.
He blames every problem in this city on the people of this city and yet the ignorant sycophants still flock to his businesses and listen to his worn out white liberal guilt diatribe.

Pueblo good. Colorado Springs bad.
Indians good. Columbus bad.
Gays good. Straight bad.
Undeveloped land good. Growth bad.

Divisive politics is this mans game. It's becoming a worn out record.

Hey Richard! What makes you think that if Columbus wouldn't have discovered America that some other person wouldn't have 5, 10 even 100 years later? How would things be any different? They wouldn't. The only thing you are doing is spitting in people's faces. Divisive politics. It's so yesterday.

Re: “FDA acknowledges benefits of CBD in public comment request

It's really a shame that in the U.S. hemp got grouped together with marijuana decades ago when the big crack down on marijuana came about. Fortunately things have been slowly turning around and hemp, and the CBD that derives from it, have been legalized in many (but not all) states. Hemp has almost no THC, so it isn't something people even used to get high from anyway. See http://greenuva.com for more details.

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

Also the problem for them is that they never received any tactical training besides shooting cans of organic oatmeal beer.
The people they claim to revolutionize against have grown up up with firearms, shooting and hunting. It'll be a very one sided fight

Re: “The left's answer to emboldened white supremacists? A militia of their own.

To say that 3% groups defend Nazis is pretty indicative of a biased slant. A lot of the oathkeeper and 3% groups actually are pretty anti-nazi and defended colored protesters against Nazis in Charlottesville.

And when you consider that this is their second time training and most three percenter groups have hundreds if not thousands of hours underneath their belt, well, just saying.

Anyone anytime in American decides to understand firearms and defend themselves as a good thing in my eye. But to be so intensely divisive is just feeding into the hegelian dialectic of the ruling class.

Their divide and conquer is working all too well.
