Re: “Billie Eilish, The Campfire Flies, Chris Cohen with the new and noteworthy

Love hanging with my 20 year old daughter, going for rides listening to Billie where once we did Gaga duets. This music appeals to the aged adolescent in me. Loring you are right. 25.

Re: “James McMurtry on Lou Reed, gun control and why Leonard Cohen must die

I always assumed that McMurtry would be a lefty but reading this, I agree with his politics a lot more than I thought I would, either way hes still a damn good artist/ musician

Re: “Sean Lennon on his new band with Les Claypool, his parents' jukebox, and Michael Jackson's monkey

Sean is genius. I get that. I think he should smile more though. The angry looking rock star image belies his intellect.

Re: “New releases from Randy Houser and The Delines

Love The Delines! Colfax is a great album from them. Richmond Fontaine is anonther band/mastermind of Willy Vlautin, not to mention his novels that intertwine with the lyrics/music.

Re: “Disturbed embrace evolution and the sound of silence

"The Sound of Silence" is my favorite of S&G, and Disturbed's version is much better. I look fwd to hearing much more of that variety from Disturbed on YT soon.

Re: “Chuck Snow & George Duncan at Bar-K show preview

No way you all are gonna show them stars huh? Politically Correct is nothing more than mind control. Why be an agent or participant and let people see what is out there in the world...?

Re: “Chris Isaak, Black P and Leftover Salmon book Springs dates

I would love to see Leftover Salmon, but at the Broadmoor? Oh no, no, no, cannot attend events there or patronize the Broadmoor in any way, they are destroying Colorado Springs with their greedy ways......

Re: “Handicapping the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees

One of the most glaring omissions, in my opinion, is Warren Zevon. When will his time come? The second, and more debatable omission is John McLaughlin. He helped Miles Davis, a HOF Inductee, pioneer Jazz-Rock fusion, and then took it one step further with the formation Mahavishnu Orchestra and Shakti respectively. The genre-bending/ creating McLaughlin should have a place next to his peers.

Re: “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame calls for fans to choose among 15 finalists

Umm Cleveland rocked last year and it will again in 2019 and in 2021, and 2023...and so on. That's because the hall of fame rotates their induction ceremony every other year between Cleveland and New York. Something you would have known if you had put even a passing attempt at research in for this article. But yet it's something you clearly did not as you made a joke that obviously indicated your lack of understanding in how or where the induction ceremonies are held each year "So much for that Cleveland rocks thing". If you had known that fact and you were a good journalist then you would have thought to include the fact that the ceremony ping pongs each year back and forth between Gotham and Brownsville to help educate the reader to the somewhat lesser known fact(So much for that not phoning this article in concept.)
