Re: “Lifetime state parks pass for seniors

I am 62 years old and have been awarded a life time National Parks Pass for a $10.00 one time fee. Why can't States do this for Seniors as well? Haven't we paid full price long enough to warrant a little consideration. I really would like to know who the State Parks need to thank for younger generations being interested in the great outdoors? I think it is we the senior generation...Just saying!!!

Re: “Bulletin Board

Bulletin boards are commonly used in schools, colleges and office depots etc. to gather and transfer information. In todays time, it is not possible to convey our message individually so these boards are very helpful, one just need to stick the matter on the common bulletin and everyone will get the news. For all this, use inventive material to make them more eye-catchy and you can easily get such stuff from I hope you all will like them too.

Re: “Coloradans conflicted on Trump's Supreme Court pick

I have no problem believing it was a joke. The social and political climate in the 1980s was nothing like it is today. Back then, it was cool to be left wing--further left than the liberals in the Democratic Party. The further to the left, the cooler.

One of the sadder aspects of the times was a propensity to call anyone with even moderately conservative views, a fascist. It should not be surprising that victims of this name calling would adopt the label as a backhanded compliment.

Furthermore, no real fascist organization ever operates under its true identity. They adopt mild names like "Alt Right," because they know no decent person will give a second look if they use words like fascist, nazi, or racist in their names.

I was physically assaulted by an officer there. I have pictures and a formal statement. Do I need to file a sf 95 first?

Re: “UPATE: Did dinosaurs and humans co-exist? Flier at USAFA says yes.

Discovery "news" is theocratic propoganda. It wouldn't pass a basic 6th grade level quality test for website reliability. The people publishing this psuedo-scientific garbage are not scientists. It's a guy named Chuck Anderson (no scientific credentials) publishing out of his basement- a clear sign of how desperate the evangelical movement has become. If seen in public, grab this cultist crap and throw it in the trash- where it belongs.

Re: “Coloradans conflicted on Trump's Supreme Court pick

Joke? And it was allowed to be printed in the official school yearbook? Where was the faculty or administrative review? This is another attempt to hide the truth and make light of questionable behavior by chalking it up to youthful pranks. If it was a prank than Mr. Gorsuch should make a public apology for his actions - just to clear the air....…

Re: “The List

I applaud Hunt and Hetfield for producing the film about the perils of pornography. It truly brings awful consequences to viewers and their families. There are some treatments that seem to work. 12-step programs seem to have high relapse rates but some of the new cognitive-behavior-based programs, like the book Power Over Pornography, help overcome the habit and also help control against relapse.

Re: “Coloradans conflicted on Trump's Supreme Court pick

So if I have a business with employees and I am a Satanist, I can make my employees attend mandatory worship services like Focus on the Family does? And since I am a lesbian, I can deny men getting Viagra on our insurance plan too like they deny women birth control and abortions that are MEDICALLY NECESSARY? Very cool! I wonder how many more moronic rules can I come up with?

Old Crank, it was Tim Leigh (Mr. Conspiracy Theory). He didn't get re-elected... no surprise. The voters did the right thing.

Re: “Lamborn calls Trump's immigration order "prudent"

Regardless of what this page's resident Trump licking troll sez, it doesn't negate the fact that Lamborn is the quintessential greed driven myopic Republican Koch whore and fits perfectly into the mindset of our "little Bavaria".

Re: “Colorado Springs renames stormwater division

All of what has been noted is true-ish. But my problem is a citizenry which seems either cowed or - worse yet - disinterested in the obvious fact that Colorado Springs' voters are being regularly manipulated by fancy-pants rulers. Knowing for certain that stupidity is not the issue, one has to wonder just what is holding back an intelligent and fairly balanced citizenry from insisting that such manipulation is not to be tolerated.
With any luck, this will be made crystal clear in April. Although, to be frank, much damage could be done just between now and then.

Re: “Colorado Springs renames stormwater division

our stormwater problems stem from the cheap ass teabaggers around here, mostly repubicans, that don't want to pay for what they use. it costs money to live in a local governed society, if you can't afford it... move. this city is the perfect example of what happens with extended repubican control... crappy roads, underfunded police and fire departments, under-maintained parks and infrastructure (including stormwater) that is billions of dollars behind in maintenance. the other parts of this state that are not run by teabaggers are doing exponentially better!!!

Re: “Colorado Springs renames stormwater division

In a world of alternative facts and where people living in Muslim countries are banned from immigrating to the United States by a non Muslim ban it is clear that politicians can say anything they want and we will buy it.

Re: “Lamborn calls Trump's immigration order "prudent"

Let me understand this, mr.b. You looked at my previous comments and predicted that I would act in the future as I had in the past! You should join the California Psychics!

As hard as you looked, you could not find anything to debunk in all that I posted, so you post this trivial anecdote in a desperate attempt to hide the fact.
