Re: “Cripple Creek’s new Christmas Casino and a conversation about the holiday

Really?? You are kidding me. If you want to limit Freedom of Expression, Speech etc start by shutting up. If you want to call yourself a "newspaper" then print some news.
I went to school many years ago with a guy named Jim Christmas. I winder if he alive and being maligned by righteous (self-appointed) PC pinheads. PC is really a bigoted practice and an infringement on the !st Amendment. Believing people are offended by stereotyping or jokes is saying they are too immature or stupid to know the difference between humor and insult. Belittling people is not a good thing, you idiots should know that.

Re: “Photographer Bill Young focuses his camera on homelessness and dialogue

I want to see a nice panorama of a field; with mounds of trash surrounding an unused 30 yard dumpster.
Because although I care about the homeless; I will never understand their abusage of the world that they do live in - our Colorado outdoors and natural lands.
The Concrete Couch has a giant dumpster such as the one mentioned; and teh Concrete Couch's current outdoor project also has miscellaneous trash and garbage all over it's property; in and around Shooks Run.
Too bad none of the homeless can't take turns volunteering to clean up their own areas.

Re: “Pikes Peak Litter Letter project draws attention to trash in local waterways

This is a joke. Take a walk along Shooks Run from E. Fountain to E. Las Vegas. Gaze upon a wasteland of trash and garbage, five gallons buckets of feces (where do they go when full? Into a regular trash bin? Do you think the trash compacter dumptruck is meant to process that stuff? Is the landfill rated for human waste disposal????), and ... and a huge 10 cubic yard dumpster SW of the High Tops Dispensary at 1022 S. Royer.

Giant dumpster. Unused.
Good luck with the utopian experiment. Soon winter will be here; the entire area will be a blaze with wild fire.

Well meaning charity; gone horribly awry.

Re: “Mark Barsocchini shows us the ropes as he goes pro with his knotwork

It's great to see a fellow knot tyer find their place. Our family has been doing similar work for 61 years here in Mystic, CT and it's great to see another success story. The tradition is very much alive , and we've taught over 5,000 kids their first decorative knots just in the last 3 years.

I rode penny farthings with him last march, and only got to hang out with him for a few hours that day, but he made me laugh so much. Thank you for sharing this.

Re: “Palmer Land Trust partners with artists for new outdoor awareness campaign

Hey, if the citizens lose their lawsuit, why dont you quickly go and paint Strawberry Fields before the Broadmoor bulldozers begin the destruction... Shame on you Palmer Land Trust for aiding and abetting the land grab!

Re: “Radio Ha Ha to support KCMJ 96.3

I think your source for this story may not be reliable.

1. KCMJ started streaming in 2014
2.It's been broadcasting for 2.5 years.
3. It's frequency, whenever it IS on the air, is 93.9 FM

Just FYI

Beautiful, and sad. Your words making his passing too real. A rare soul he had. He will be missed by us and countless others.
