U.S. Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame CEO Chris Liedel pumps the 2020 opening

A collection of Olympic torches carried by athletes in the years since the torch relay was introduced for the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin will be on display. The torches came to the U.S. Olympic Committee from Gordon “Gordy” Crawford, chair of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. Crawford, a prolific Olympic artifact collector, also donated a selection of medals dating to the 1896 Olympic Games. The USOC will lend items to the museum.
