Re: “Hikers rescued in midnight mission at Cheyenne Mountain State Park

So, the Broadmoor guide let these people go out without proper clothing or food for a hike, and EPC Search & Rescue then had to risk a night rescue in poor terrain to bail them out.

Re: “Kroger grocery stores give alt-weeklies the cold shoulder

Ive seen a reduction in quality of produce at King Soopers, along with trying to get customers to check themselves out. When will we have to stock the shelves for them?

Another irritant is the regular empty shelf where advertised sale items are supposed to be.....the classic bait and switch.

King Soopers is the most convenient location to me, but theyre making it worth my while to branch out.

A basic tenet of government is public safety.

Re: “Paul Ryan turns on Trump; is Gardner next?

I must have missed Gardner insisting on Hatch Act-violator Kellyanne Conway held to account for breaking the law.

Funny how you and fellow Republicans can always excuse rich, white lawbreakers, eh, Cory?

Re: “City tries "gutter bins" to keep cigarette butts out of creek

Also, fine those who throw their butts or other litter out the window. Say, $50 for the first offense.

Let the problem pay for the solution.

Re: “Independence Center trains deaf and hard of hearing students to be CNAs

CNAs are undervalued in the healthcare system, both in money terms and in status.

Well-trained CNAs, because of their more intimate interactions with patients, often notice early signs of changing condition. Too many nurses and doctors dont effectively use that heads up.

Make sure the CNAs and nurses are trained to communicate effectively, too.
